41. Hello

Jin moaned into their kiss before finally breaking out. Both were feeling breathless, lips garnet and swollen. Jungkook sighed deeply before adjusting the front of his pants, making Jin chuckle.

"Why don't you shower first while I reheat the chicken? You ordered a lot. Sunghoon cannot eat all of that." Jin said while standing up before being pulled back to Jungkook's lap.

"I will not stay. I'll go back to the hotel." Jungkook whispered while trailing his lips along Jin's clavicle.

Pushing Jungkook to look at him in the eye, Jin squinted his eyes with a pout. "Is someone waiting for you there, and you can't stay here with us?"

Jungkook stared at Jin in disbelief before laughing at Jin's jealous face, "Baby, seriously? I almost lost my breath running here just to hear you say I love you, and you really think I have someone in that hotel?"

Jin glared and pouted more, receiving a louder laugh from Jungkook.

"Babe, I already said it earlier; I would love to meet and get close to Sunghoon. You and him have been away from each other, and I know how much you missed him. Spending alone time with him is on top of your list and, similarly, what I want for you. My presence could probably make him a little uncomfortable since I am unfamiliar. And I don't want him to feel that. You know I didn't even want to come in. If you did not guarantee that he is a deep sleeper, I would be at the hotel by now. And if you did not seduce me of... Ouch!!!"

Jin punched Jungkook's chest before standing up and crossing his arms against his chest. "Seduce? Really? Who kept on touching me? He is looking for you."

Jungkook was about to pull Jin back down to his lap, but Jin slapped Jungkook's hand and sat beside him instead, "It won't work for me, babe. I promise to come back and meet him once he's ready."

"Jungkook, I'm not kidding. Sunghoon is looking for you."

It took a moment before it finally sank into Jungkook's head, "Why would he look for me? He doesn't know me."

"Namjoon mentioned that a 'friend' lives here with me. His exact words were: Like what Uncle Hobi is to Daddy."

Scoffing, Jungkook shook his head in disbelief and frustration, "Namjoon is something else."

"I am not against Sunghoon knowing because I need to tell it to him one day. It's just that I am worried about how it was delivered to him. Namjoon can be harsh and straightforward. Sunghoon is just a kid."

Encasing Jin in his arms, Jungkook tried to reassure Jin, though he was worried too, "I think Sunghoon would be hesitant to ask you about me if Namjoon said something unnecessary. We would know once Sunghoon opened up. Let's not dwell on it for now. How did he take it?"

"He is cool with it. Maybe because he is already used to his father's relationship with Hoseok. I think I just have to guide him through it slowly. Especially now that Namjoon has allowed me to have Sunghoon. One day, as he grows up, I know he will be more curious."

Jungkook nodded in agreement, "Growing up in a happy environment is essential. It will be easy for him to navigate this transition of living with his parents in different homes if he feels safe and comfortable with you or his father. So, surrounding yourself with positive people is the best thing to do, as they will be the same people who will surround your son. We'll figure it out as we go along."

"Thank you." Jin leaned in to kiss Jungkook. "Are you going to stay?"

"I'll come back tomorrow morning. I didn't want to surprise Sunghoon with my presence since he arrived here without me, and he knew I was in my other house. Maybe you could ask for permission for me to come over?"
