The following weeks haven't been that hard for Jin. He was thankful that his job had been keeping him occupied. Jungkook had a lot of work for him but he liked that than doing nothing. At least, his mind had time to rest from thinking too much about his problems.
As soon as Jungkook arrives in the office, it surprised him that Jin was already there. For the past few weeks that Jin was working, Jin always arrives first, and leaves last. Jungkook would shift his gaze down as he approched Jin's table and Jin would stood up fast to greet him.
"Good morning, Mr. Jeon," Jin grabbed several documents from his file as he walked behind his boss. "I already printed the reports you were asking and the Finance depart--" his words were cut off when Jungkook closed the door. Jin pouted as he stared at the walnut colored door. Jin murmured, "Why is he acting like he's on a period. Oh, shhhh..." Jin almost cursed when the door suddenly opened. And Jungkook was also surprised to find Jin there. Jungkook left the door opened and Jin went in, hoping his boss did not hear his talking.
"When is my meeting with Chairman Sim?"
Jin opened his organizer that he always bring whenever Jungkook called him. He made a monthly calendar with color coded notes to easily find his boss's errands. "It will be on Friday, 9 in the morning at the champagne room of--"
"How about with President Han?"
Jin's eyes wandered on his calendar and pointed on a date, "Tomorrow at 3 in the afternoon at the confe--"
"Where is the report I asked and what did the Finance Department said?"
Jin wanted to get annoyed as his boss kept on cutting him. But he had been that way ever since he started to work him. Never finishing his words as if testing his patience. "Yes boss. It's in that report."
"Discuss it."
Jin went speechless for a moment. This was the first time he was asked to discuss the report he gathered. He usually would get all the information, give it to Jungkook, no thank you, and he was free to go.
"Are you going to stand there and let the paper talk?!"
"Oh! Sorry. Well..." Jin discussed what he knew and he was glad he read it numerous time before giving it to Jungkook. Because of that, he was able to discuss the report properly.
"Coordinate with the Finance and Treasury Department and make sure to clear the funding for that project. If bidding is needed, have it published as soon as possible. Give me a feedback within 24 hours so we can prepare the needed documents. You may go."
Jin bowed and was ready to leave when his boss suddenly spoke, "Buy me a banana bread. You've been buying croissant for weeks now and you didn't even bother to ask if I want other pastries. I don't like choco chips in my banana bread nor wallnuts. I want it plain and warm."
"Noted, sir." Jin wanted to run outside not wanting another instruction. His head wanted to burst out of annoyance and information.
On his way to the coffee shop where he was also working part time during night time, he felt his phone vibrated in his pocket. His eyes widened as soon as he saw that it was an email from the lawfirm he made an inquiry from.
Jin wanted to know the lawyer's fee and the rough estimate of the amount he would need to prepare for his plan to fight for custody. His knees wanted to buckle when he saw the quotation mentioned in the letter that he needed to sit down on the plant box nearby.
Jin's hand clenched tightly on his phone. He didn't want to realize the consequences of not having enough. He didn't want to realize how long he needed to work and how many jobs he needed to apply just to save money to fund his fight for custody. What pains him the most was the thought that it would take a long time before he could be with his son again.
Taking a deep breath, Jin wiped his tears and continue walking to the coffee shop. His emotions made him tired instantly he didn't want his boss to exhaust him more by scolding him.

"Please take this to the fifth floor. Tell Minsoo's assistant to have it reviewed and signed within the day. Then this one to 11th floor. Tell them to revise it, email the revision to me, and not to print until I tell them it's final. It's a waste of paper. And call Chairman Sim's assistant and ask him to email me the proposal within the day. No proposal, no meeting. You may go."
Jin took all the papers and chanted everything he needed to do. Praying hard he won't forget anything. He just came from buying the banana bread and still tired from walking, here he was, doing an excursion in the building.
Before he entered the lift, it opened with Jimin inside, holding hands with Yoongi. "Where are you going?" Jimin asked. Yoongi greeted Jin before leaving. Jimin pulled Jin inside the lift as he stared at his bestfriend. "It's only 8 in the morning and you look tired. Is he giving you a hard time?"
Jin shook his head as he fanned himself with his hand while pressing the 5th floor button. "Not really. It's part of my job. I bought banana bread, warm, no choco chips, no wallnuts. Then asked me to bring this documents to 5th and 11th floor. Then I will call Chairman Sim's assistant right after. I wish I won't forget."
Jimin chuckled seeing Jin looking in panic, "Calm down. There's a lot of projects Yoongi told me. Maybe that's why he have loads of work for you to do. He's not like that during my time and he always ask the head's assistant to come pick up the documents from me. It's a bit weird he's letting you do those."
"This is better. And honestly, I don't really mind. I am good in remembering things. You know Namjoon is also very particular with his food, clothing, and the whole house in general. So I know how to handle this. Actually, this is easier. At least, even he have an outburst in the future, I'm just glad he hasn't one yet, I am being paid."
"That's nice to hear. At least, work keeps you busy." Jimin clung on to Jin's arm as they walk out of the elevator to deliver the documents Jungkook asked Jin to deliver.

Jungkook dropped the pen on top of his paper works and checked the time from his watch. It was 8 in the evening. Slouching on to his chair, he closed his eyes feeling the tiredness of the day.
He had a lot of works for Jin to do the whole day. Jin was almost on the phone or roaming around the building to deliver documents. It was enough so he wouldn't get tempted to press the remote of his switchable glass wall to a two way mirror and observe his new assistant.
Jungkook opened his eyes and messaged his helper to prepare dinner for him as he was about to go home. Grabbing his coat and his bag, he walked out of his office only to see Jin still on his desk.
As he approached the desk, it seemed as if Jin didn't notice him went out of his office. It seemed that Jin was engaged on something as his head was lowered and he was staring intently on his phone. He wasn't nosy at all, but Jungkook had that urge to look what was keeping Jin preoccupied. As he walked nearer, it was then he realized, Jin was asleep. He looked at the wall clock and it was half past 8.
Jungkook almost gasped but clenched his jaw instead when Jin suddenly moved and his elbow hit the computer mouse. He was thakful, Jin was still asleep. The screen of his computer suddenly lighted up. Jungkook stared at the computer screen for a while before leaving the office and letting Jin sleep.
Jungkook went straight to the janitor currently swipping the floor to inquire about his curiousity, "What time is your shift?"
"Good evening, Mr. Jeon. 8pm to 6 in the morning, sir."
"Do you know him?" Jungkook pointed at Jin.
"That's Mr. Seokjin, sir."
"What time does he usually goes home?"
"9 in the evening, sir."
"Is he always sleeping?"
The janitor slightly was taken a back by the question but shook his head in the end, "No, sir. I once asked him if he's loaded with work and he told me he wanted to finish all the works for the day so he won't go home with work still in his mind. Maybe he's just tired today."
Jungkook glanced at Jin once more and took out his wallet, giving a hundred bucks to the janitor after whispering something. The janitor smiled and nodded excitedly.
"Just wake him up before 9." Jungkook said before leaving.
