MEI AIHARA'S POINT OF VIEW

CHAPTER 2

- I am still furious of that damn girl. The fact that she saw what that jerk did to me. How can she be so insensitive.

Mei was feeling anger and sadness at the same time. These feelings were not new to her. She was actually used to it. But what irritates her most was it was THIS girl who did it to her.

Not yet aware of her own feelings, she cannot shrugged the uneasiness remembering the kiss they shared a while ago.

- But that kiss was not as bad. Her lips are so soft. So that's how it felt to kiss a girl... I think... I... liked it?... whatever...

Morning came, both girls obviously haven't slept well. Ume was so eager to bond with her daughters that she invites them to go shopping.

During lunch, Ume noticed awkwardness between the two. She shifted her attention to Mei by asking her about her father and grandfather.

- I wasn't sure yet if I could open up with Ume. But I can feel she is trying her best to reach out to me. Maybe if I could... No... just not...yet.

After lunch, they continue to stroll in the mall. Yuzu, lost in her thoughts accidentally tripped and grabbed Mei's skirt and tumbled together in the fountain. Despite being drenched the three managed to go back home.

- I swear if this was her payback at what I did to her last night... Ugh..

Ume instructed the girls to take a bath together so they won't catch cold. The two obliged.

Yuzu couldn't hide the blush on her face when meeting her eyes with Mei's while staring intently at Mei's naked body. She immediately stand up to give Mei the space to take a bath. But to Yuzu's surprise...

- Oh no you don't... I will not let you get away with this that easy. After the embarrassment at the mall. Well since you are enjoying the view in front of you, might as well...

Mei grabbed Yuzu's hands and pinned her at the wall and licked Yuzu's neck. Mei's attacks were stopped as Yuzu managed to escape her and scolded her sternly.

- What the hell! After all your gawking, you protest now when I made a move on you.. Ugh, I can't figure out this girl anymore... But seriously, what am I really doing, am I a pervert as well?

Another sleepless night for Yuzu who was having a hard time processing what has transpired between her and her stepsister. Mei is sleeping soundly beside Yuzu.

As Yuzu became more conflicted of her own feelings toward her step sister, she came across of meeting their "grandfather" for the first time. Determined to show off to Harumin that she is now one of the Chairman's granddaughters, she ran to greet her grandfather with her brightest smile.

- How stupid can you be Onee-chan! Recklessly acting like you are close with grandfather not to say here in the Academy and in front of these students...

"Mei! Please explain why this idiot is walking freely in the Academy? You have really been taking your leadership for granted!" Grandfather exclaimed. "I'm very sorry" is what Mei can only say.

"Its not her fault! If you want to be angry at someone, get angry at me!" Yuzu's defense enraged the Chairman more and lead Yuzu to back down and ran away with Harumin instead.

- Oh oh.. I really am in trouble now all thanks to this stupid girl.. But still, I'm impressed she has the guts to stood up for me from my grandfather's outburst... I am beginning to like you, Onee-chan (smirking)

Yuzu and Harumin tried to sneak in the campus through the school fence. As they proceed to their class, they overheard Amemiya-Sensei talking sweetly with his girlfriend over the phone. Yuzu, to her dismay found out that this Sensei was the one who's supposed to be engaged with Mei, which Harumi mentioned to her the other day and who is apparently "cheating" behind Mei. On top of that, this jerk is going to use Mei and her grandfather's wealth to his advantage. Yuzu thinks she must tell and warn her stepsister about Amemiya-Sensei's affair.

At the Aihara apartment, Yuzu is waiting for Mei at their door. As soon as Mei's home... "Got a second?" Yuzu said. Mei just looks at her and went to their bedroom to change. Yuzu followed her and initiated the conversation, "sorry 'bout this morning. Because of me the Chairman got angry at you." Yuzu continues, "anyway, I apologized. Now, I overheard Amemiya-Sensei this morning. He doesn't think very highly of you. 'Said it was all about the money for him.. he's using you to get closer to your grandfather." Mei just kept silent.

- Being sympathetic now aren't you, Onee-chan? I wanted to think that you really cared. But most of your actions speaks otherwise. Giving me a lot of trouble lately, specially with my grandfather.

Yuzu still eager to reach Mei, "what you have is not love." Hearing this, Mei was moved a bit, but maintained her composure, "I knew", she said. "So what? A kid who hasn't even kissed yet, shouldn't be talking like she knows everything." Mei left Yuzu ignoring whatever the blonde has to say to her. Mei is feeling the pain in her heart and remembering all the disgusting things Amemiya-Sensei did to her the other day.

- Damnit! You really know how to rub it, don't you. This girl... grrr... obviously there isn't any love between me and Sensei. Haven't you realized that when you saw what he did to me back then. As much as I wanted to be consoled, I might as well stay away as far as I could from you, Onee-chan. I am having the urge to shut you up, if you know what I mean...
