MEI AIHARA'S POINT OF VIEW

CHAPTER 9

- We are still sisters right?... we live in the same house, sleep in the same bed... so yeah! nothing should change.. I can do this... Sara, I should only think about her now... she is my g-gi-girl-girlfriend...ugh.. who am I fooling now... (sigh)

Yuzu cannot grasp what Mei just told her. Actually, she cannot accept it. Because of her cowardice, someone took Mei from her. As regrets drown her, Nina approach Yuzu to tell her the "good news" about Sara. "Yuzu, hi there! Its Nina. You look down, did you fight with someone?" "Well something like that" Yuzu confirms to Nina. "Say, did Onee tell you the news yet? Onee's confession of love paid off! And since Onee would want it, Yuzu could you also support her love?" Nina excitedly tells Yuzu. Yuzu replied without doubt, "'Course I will! We're friends. Friends support each other's love!".

As Yuzu realized that bath time is almost over, she rans to the bath house. There she met the lovestruck Sara. "Sara!? You look dazed, are you okay? You're all dreamy 'cause you confessed and she said yes, aren't you?" said Yuzu teasing Sara. "Nina must told you right?" Sara said. "Ahh how nice, my story came to an end right before I was able to confess. She said she's started dating someone. Ah, I know that I shouldn't give up but..." Yuzu told Sara while failing to hide her broken heart.

"Yuzu! you absolutely must tell her how you  feel!... you still love her right? If you love her then you must act! The path to happiness, deep down your heart already know what to do. I was able to convey my feelings, so... Yuzu, you can do it too!." Sara told Yuzu with full encouragement.

What Sara said made Yuzu fully determined to tell Mei all her feelings. School trip was almost over, Himeko told Yuzu that Mei is going to meet a date at the Kyoto Station. Yuzu knew she have to confess before the trip ends. Because when would it be?

"Ah sorry... I was spacing out." Mei apologize to Sara. They are at Kyoto Tower on a date. "No, no its fine. Um Mei... can we... kiss?" Sara asks Mei hesitantly.

- Kissing Sara?...uhm, I should right?... but why am I feeling pain in my stomach... Its not that I can refuse... She has the right to ask, we are dating... so what is stopping me from doing so?...

Meanwhile, at the Kyoto Station, Yuzu cannot believe what Nina had told her. Yuzu, lost in her thoughts "The person Sara liked was Mei... Its almost ridiculous how probable that is." Yuzu snapped out of her trance and tell Nina that she can't keep her promise anymore. While explaining her point to Nina, Yuzu received a call from Sara telling her to meet her at the Kyoto Tower. Understanding Yuzu's point Nina went with her to meet Sara.

"Here, I found it in the bath yesterday. So we're both in love with the same person aren't we?" Sara asks Yuzu while handing Yuzu her student ID.

As Sara continues, "I did say you have to convey your feelings. So we could have even chances. However... even if you can get your feelings across, I'm not sure Mei will accept them. Knowing that, do you still want to go and confess?" Yuzu responds confidently to Sara, "Yes, I still want to!"

Sara happily gave her blessing to Yuzu, telling her Mei is waiting for her at the Yasaka Shrine. Without any delay, Yuzu went to meet Mei.

"Mei!" Yuzu called out Mei's attention.

- Oh no... not you again... I'm done Yuzu... so tired of giving you so many chances... I'm dating Sara... so please Yuzu... stay away...

As Mei ran away from Yuzu, Yuzu keeps on chasing her. "Wai-wait up, Mei! This time I really need to tell you!"

Yuzu caught up and jumped over Mei. As Yuzu trampled Mei and while in between catching their breaths, she continues with her confession "... Christmas eve... I was so excited it was happening, and so happy.. but I didn't listen to your feelings, so I couldn't accept you... I regretted it. And felt really down. I don't want to feel that way again... I love you Mei. And these feelings won't betray you. So, if you feel the same about me... Please kiss me!"

- I am so happy I could cry Yuzu! I love you too... My heart is jumping with joy!... thank you for this wonderful feeling Yuzu... my Yuzu...
