CHAPTER 31

Meanwhile at the Aihara Mansion..

MEI POV

- (clenching the ring in her necklace on her chest) Yuzu... I can't stay in the same place with you... or else, I'll come running towards you... I long for your warmth... if I continue seeing you, my resolve to grant grandfather's wish will crumble... what should I do... I need Udagawa-san's help... what should I tell him?...

Mei called Udagawa and discuss with him over the phone to move up their wedding a bit earlier than they have planned. Even though Udagawa-san is not too convinced in Mei's reasons, he gave in to her request.

UDAGAWA POV

- Mei, as much as I adore you, I really can't understand what are you planning to do here. I know you have no feelings towards me, cause this is an arranged marriaeg in the first place. But I can't shake the thought that you have other reasons for moving up the schedule... hmmm... but well, okay, for now I'll go with your wishes.

MEI POV

- Sigh.. what am I really doing?... well if I'm not gonna end up with Yuzu, I don't care to whom anymore... sorry for being this selfish Udagawa-san... I am not in any way prepared to be engaged, more specially to be married to anyone.. and yes, I am still young, and if I would choose and decide for myself I want to spend this youth or rather spend my life with Yuzu... but because of my situation, I need to stay as far away from Yuzu because... I am so in love with her, and I can't bear this pain in my chest any longer... hmm.. should I elope with her? (wishful smile forming)

While Mei is preparing for her wedding engagement, Yuzu and their friends are planning to "rescue" Mei from her situation...

"In other words, you want to support Mei in inheriting the Academy but you also want to return to being lovers?" Harumin said.

"Yuzupon, having both is rather difficult" Shiraho-Senpai said.

"That's right, do you plan on being Mei's Mistress?" Matsuri asked sternly.

"Well, I know what I'm saying is selfish but I love Mei too much. I can't just choose one over the other." Yuzu declares.

"Hehehe... as expected from Yuzu-Senpai, just like during the election, in this world there are unlimited possibilities. HaruYuzu too can still exist, I can't lose hope!" Nene exclaimed.

"Hey, Yuzu-chan.. what do Mei say when she left? Surely she said something right" Matsuri asked.

"Oh, Mei left a letter and left" Yuzu answered Matsuri shyly and sadly.

"You didn't talk about it before she decided!?! That's so one-sided!" Matsuri exclaimed.

"I... I thought the same at first. But, Mei wrote that letter to me with all her heart. And so I've decided to accept all of it."

The group remained silent because of Yuzu's heart felt explanation. Then gave encouragement to Yuzu.

After a while, Yuzu's phone rings...

"H-hello"

"My name is Momokino Himeko, is this Aihara Yuzu's cell?"

"Yes, huh, its you! What's wrong!?"

"Originally, I shouldn't be calling you like this, but there's something I feel the need to tell you. Its about the President.."

"She's leaving the school!?..."

"For her to succeed as Director its not just the student council... she might not even come to school anymore. From tomorrow onwards.."

"What!?! Mei, is she there!?!"

"The President left quite some time ago. I also found out about her withdrawal from school. So I couldn't tell you earlier."

"I see... Thank you Momokino-san"

"Aihara Yuzu, I heard Mei-Mei accepted an important ring from you. If you plan on doing anything now about those feelings shared between the two of you... Please don't waste any second.

YUZU POV

- oh no Mei... I won't let you go like this... we have so many plans ahead of us... so many memories to share with... Mei please... don't give up on us.. please... wait for me.. I'll get you out of this...
