CHAPTER 11

- Yuzu..(sigh)... what did I do to deserved a very cute idiot like you.. heh.. not too long ago I am so annoyed by you.. always causing trouble here and there... I think your stupidity was contagious, it even contaminated me to the very core, that I am now falling in the depths of.... nah, being romantic doesn't suit me at all.. sorry... (smirking)... but seriously, you bewildered me Yuzu...

After their first date, Yuzu is in a bliss. She thinks that hugs and occasional kisses aren't enough to express her love for Mei. Her feelings for Mei are overflowing. Having that said, her attention was caught by a magazine suggesting to transform one's loving affection into shape, meaning having matching rings or couples ring as a sign of love. "This will do.." Yuzu now is fired up!

In order to buy matching rings Yuzu started working part time. It would be bad if Mei or the school will found out, so she decided to go back to her hometown to work. She even lied to Mei that she was with Harumin studying for exams when Mei asked her on where and what she's been doing late at night.

Unfortunately, Harumi bumped into Mei at the supermarket when Harumi was buying groceries with her sister. Mei ask for consideration in behalf of Yuzu for disturbing Harumi in the past few days. Mitsuko was surprised to have heard this and told Harumi that it was rude to not give proper greetings. Harumi tried her best to cover up for Yuzu but failed to convince Mei.

- Hmmm... so Yuzu is not studying with Harumi this whole time... what the hell are you doing Yuzu, exam is coming up, and you are going home late everyday... I shall punish you for this...

Meanwhile at Yuzu's end, after receiving her month's pay, Yuzu bought the matching rings and was on her way home when she was called out by her 2 childhood friends, Kana and Manami.

At the café, Kana and Manami were too excited to hear Yuzu's stories about her love life. Yuzu is just as excited too, she wants to brag about Mei in front of her friends. For Yuzu to have found love for the first time, she wanted to share not just with her friends but with the world how lucky she was to found a beautiful and smart person like Mei.

Before Yuzu could start telling them her love story, Kana and Manami spotted two girls making out along side of the road. Kana and Manami felt disgusted between the two other girls and made fun of them. Yuzu, while being offended, tried to reason out to her friends that maybe the two other girls were really in love with each other and are just expressing themselves freely. Kana and Manami were surprised at Yuzu but continue to laugh it out. They thought that Yuzu being Yuzu is joking at the time. They couldn't believe if Yuzu would be in love with another girl as they were suspecting.

Yuzu felt an unbearable pain in her heart that she can't understand. She felt embarrassment and humiliation that she never felt in her life. As if there was a bucket of ice poured to her. She wanted to cry but she can't. Doubts came rushing through her mind about her feelings, about her relationship with Mei. Reality struck her, how the society view their relationship. Should she end things with Mei? These thoughts made her heart waver.

Meanwhile at the Aihara apartment, Mei is talking with Harumi over the phone. Harumi is explaining to Mei what Yuzu is doing for the past few days, even asks for Mei's understanding on the matter.

- So Yuzu is buying something... maybe a present for me?... now I feel guilty... should I just let this slip? she really haven't done anything wrong, yet.. aside from lying to me, which she had a reason for herself... well, I'll just hear her out first... but a present for me... hmmm... then should I give her a present as well?... but what should I get her?... anyway...

Mei welcomes Yuzu as soon as she got home, but to Mei's surprise... "Where on earth have you been?"... Yuzu was a mess, she was crying her heart out "Mei... I'm sorry." That was all Yuzu can say and left Mei speechless as Yuzu went to their room.

- What the???... Who did this to her???... Yuzu... she is in pain... what am I going to do... how am I supposed to talk to her like this... but I think giving her space at the moment will be best... I will just wait for her to speak up... but seeing her like this... oh my dear Yuzu...
