CHAPTER 30

After Yuzu mustered all the courage to herself, she decided to talk to her mom about her and Mei.

So after Yuzu sent off Sara and Nina, she went to speak with her mom...

YUZU POV

- I can do this... I know Mama will understand me, will understand my relationship with Mei... Mama will understand how much I love Mei...

"Mama, there's a lot of things I need to say!"

"I understand, I'll make some tea."

"Well, what I have to say, might distress you. But I want you to understand that it-its about Mei.."

"Yuzu, its alright, just say whatever pops into your mind. Take it slow."

"Okay..."

After Yuzu expained everything to her mom...

"I see..."

"I'm sorry Mama..."

"There's nothing to be sorry about. Its not wrong to love people. And I was around the same age as you when I decded to be with your father. The future you choose, might also be more painful than you can imagine. The decisions you make, will also come with responsibility. Well, the reason I'm telling you this, is because you've already made that step forward. You're already prepared. Its alright, no matter how tough it is from here on out, I can say with confidence that you won't regret this decision. Do you know why? Because its the future you choose yourself."

"Thank you, Mama."

Yuzu and her mom contacted Shou after their heart felt conversation. Now, Yuzu is more determined to come after Mei, and she will do everything she can to bring Mei back home.

"Papa can you hear me?"

"Oh Yuzu-chan, I hear you."

"Um Papa, there's something I need to tell you today..."

"Go ahead..."

Yuzu discussed with her dad what she told her mom...

"I see..."

"That's probably why I felt something wrong from Mei back then.."

"Something wrong?"

"Yeah, I got a phone call from Mei, about inheriting our house. The way she talked was a little worrying. Maybe its because it was me. I thought she was forcing herself, so I asked all sorts of questions. "Because its something I decided out of my own will". She replied stubbornly. Well I could only guess that it had something to do with you. But I don't know what exactly happened. What do you want to do, Yuzu-chan?"

"I... I want to be with Mei forever. I don't knnow what to do yet. But I'm sure there's a way. A way to change her situation without changing her feelings."

"You surprised me. I never thought I'd hear something like that from you. To be honest, its a really difficult situation but, I don't think the possibility is zero either. Thanks to the time I spent with the two of you, I got to know people who lacked theknowledge and experience I had, but shared the same will as me. The me right now, might be able to lend you my strength."

"Thank you, Papa. Then, when Mei and I get married, I look forward to your support!"

"Huh!?! You decided that so suddenly, its an impotant matter... But, yeah... do what you want to do, without regrets. No matter what happens, your mom and Iwill be right behind you."

YUZU POV

- thanks to Papa and Mama, I have a stronger resolve now... Mei, our parents already gave us their blessing... wait for me Mei... it won't be long now... we'll be together again... I won't let you go.. I can't... (full of determination)... now, its time to tell Harumin and the others... you can do this Yuzu, you are not alone anymore...

After school, Harumin invited Yuzu to hang out with the others, but Yuzu declined the offer...

YUZU POV

- why am I getting cold feet now... I need to keep it together!...

While Harumin is hanging out with Matsuri and Nene, Yuzu sent a message to Harumin that she'll wait for her to meet her at their usual spot. Little did Harumin know that Matsuri and Nene stalked her to check who she was going to meet.

"Yuzucchi"

"Sorry for calling you out here so suddenly."

"Its fine."

Harumin handed ice cream to Yuzu before they begin to talk. As Yuzu pulled out all her confidencce, she stand up and confess, "Um, I.. I love Mei. Not as family, but as a lover."

"I see.. then I to... I love you, Yuzu. As a close friend, yeah?"

Yuzu was startled and fell down on Harumin's declaration. Harumin laugh out at Yuzu, and during this point, Matsuri dragged Nene away and went ahead, knowing that it was just Yuzu that Harumi met up with.

MATSURI POV

- raising your flag like you've already won. Yuzu-chan what are you planning? Anyway, with this, I wonder if I'll be able to get my revenge on Mei... I need to quickly gather information.

"Ahahaha... You're so hopeless Yuzucchi. So what do you plan now?"

"Hmm.. the only thing I know now, is that I couldn't do anything by myself.

"I see.."

"Sorry. I'm always asking for your help during times like this."

"What are you saying Yuzucchi? If you think about us staying friends in the long run, its just your turn to ask for help right now."

"Harumin, thank you for waiting."

"Yeah.."

YUZU POV

- now, I need to have a plan.. with Harumin's help, I think I can get everyone on board... a little more push Yuzu... hang on...
