MEI AIHARA'S POINT OF VIEW

CHAPTER 17

Shirapon-Senpai noticed Yuzu pulling Mei away from the crowd and decided to follow them.

SHIRAHO POV

- hmm? where will those two go?... this should be interesting. I should follow them. This is the first time I see Aihara Mei being dragged around.

As Yuzu found a good spot with a very nice view of the fireworks, "We have a good view of the fireworks from here. And there's no one else! Maybe its a secret place!"

MEI POV

- uhm, Yuzu? why do you want us to be alone here?... this is dangerous for me... I can feel my stomach aching from tension that's building up...

While gazing at the beautiful fireworks display, Yuzu continues, "Um... you know... I'm sorry for dragging you out here... but no matter what I wanted to see the fireworks with you... the fireworks are pretty, aren't they?", " They are.." Mei answered.

"I-its exciting and fun being with everyone too but, next year, lets come together." After hearing what may seem such "romantic words" from Yuzu, Mei couldn't contain herself anymore ".. say Yuzu... kiss me here." Yuzu was speechless and couldn't react at once. "Nevermind, you're always avoiding me like that."

"What!? How could you say that? Because... because I... I came here wanting to do that stupid!"

As the night sky was filled with colorful and beautiful fireworks, Yuzu and Mei shared a sweet and passionate kiss. They couldn't care less if people might see them. All they want to do was to feel and taste each others lips. Convey the longingness they have from one another. But before their kisses become deeper, Yuzu slowly pull away... "Lets go back, everyone will start to worry."

MEI POV

- Yuzu... No... please... just a moment long...lets stay like this... I want you Yuzu... just you and me... I want more of you...

Mei grabs Yuzu's sleeves from behind, pleading "Its not enough..." This shocked Yuzu, and without even understanding what Mei really means "I'll... I'll head back first!" Yuzu left, leaving a confused Mei behind confused and clenching her fist on her chest, clasping the ring on her necklace.

MEI POV

- why am I like this... I think I scared Yuzu... gulp, holding back these feelings hurts... Yuzu... I love you... please don't leave me here... (sigh)

SHIRAHO POV

- what did I just see?... so Yuzupon and Aihara Mei is a thing?.. I see... That's the reason why Yuzupon always have a deep blush whenever I mention or asks anything regarding Aihara Mei... regardless, I need to let this all out with Aihara Mei, I need to understand my own feelings as well...

Shiraho-Senpai get out from her hiding spot and went to Mei, "There's something I want to ask you without feeling ashamed. Ever since the day I noticed you, only you have been on my mind. This feeling of needing you grew larger each day. I couldn't understand why you were the only one I couldn't figure out. Every day was extremely painful. But then, I met Yuzu, and gained a chance to get closer to you. I thought this would finally end my days of being captivated by you. But I was wrong... for some reason the more I understand you, the more pain I feel. Please tell me Aihara Mei, just what is this fixation I have for you"

Mei think for a moment on how to give an answer befitting for the confession of Shiraho-Senpai who is now crying, "For the longest time, my heart was also captivated by something I couldn't understand. But now I know what it is thanks to you."

"Shiraho-Senpai, you're in love with me." Mei declares.

"Oh... that's interesting. That's really interesting for you to say Aihara Mei. But how are you able to say that so confidently in front of the person who likes you? I always thought you weren't human but could it be that you're a god?" Shiraho-Senpai asks with amazement.

"I'm just a girl" Mei answered shyly tucking a strand of her hair behind her ear. "I think that part of you, is what I fell in love with" Shiraho-Senpai said as she acknowledged her feelings for Mei.

Meanwhile, as Yuzu rans back to their friends...

YUZU POV

- CRAP! CRAP! CRAP!... not enough means the same as not satisfied right as in the kiss wasn't satisfying enough right?... AHHHH... I'm going crazy, just because she asked!... that was my moment to forget everything and hold her... what should I do? I have to express these feelings with Mei... but how do I face her...

Yuzu caught up with her friends that were looking for her, Mei and Shirapon-Senpai. Yuzu received a call from Shirapon-Senpai informing her that she and Mei have something to discuss and will be going home together. With Yuzu's shocked reaction, Matsuri tease her that her lover was taken away by Shirapon-Senpai which Matsuri thinks have a thing for Mei.

YUZU POV

- Shirapon-Senpai would never do such a thing! and what Mei say, I'm insufficient?!... At first I thought it was just a crazy idea but, what if she means it was me, that isn't enough? I have to ask her when she gets home...
