CHAPTER 13

- At last, the clouds are gone, its a sunny day again in Yuzu's face... her smile.. her very sweet smile... I will never trade it for anything... those eyes... so pure.. every time I gaze at them, my heart feels warm... something I've never felt in my life... thank you Yuzu.. one day... I will say it all to you...

Just before the day ends...

"Mei, do you have a minute?" Yuzu nervously asks Mei.

- Uhm, Yuzu.. can we go to sleep already please? aren't you tired yet?.. I miss you too, but... we need to wake up early tomorrow...

"What is it?" a yawning Mei replied. Yuzu continues, "Um, thank you for today, thanks to you I won't lie about my feelings anymore. So, from here on out, as well, that so I don't lose sight of these feelings. Here's something I want to give you..." Yuzu's hand are shaking while handing Mei a small box containing the matching rings... "Please accept this.."

- OH MY GOSH!... gulp!.. what now Mei? put your sh*t together!... a triple hit combo!.. my heart just left and went to Yuzu's hands... Yuzu what did I do to deserve this, to deserve you...

Mei almost lost it for a moment, seeing the rings and Yuzu's blushing face. When Mei finally snapped from her surprise, she extended both her hands to Yuzu, "Which finger will you put it on?"

Yuzu was speechless but happy, she gather all her confidence and managed to slip one of the rings to Mei's left ring finger. Seeing the ring in her finger, Mei's tears fall uncontrollably. Yuzu tried to kiss the tears away in Mei's eyes.

- I can't believe this is happening... I am overjoyed... Never in my life did I imagine to feel this, to be loved like this.. Only you, Yuzu... you let me feel every emotions... you melted my iced cold heart... how can I ever repay you...

Mei being Mei.. "What should we do next?", and seeing Yuzu trying to do something out of the ordinary.. "Nevermind, it seems like it'll take too much time, you can put your own ring on." Mei went to sleep and left Yuzu hanging, Yuzu's hand on her shirt about to take it off.

- You are one naughty girl my love (smirking)... although what you're thinking is very tempting.. I'll pass for now... you need some rest now, you earned it... you haven't got a good sleep since you work part time...

Mei woke up seeing her love beside her, dreaming about her.

- Even in her dreams... sleep talking... telling me she loves me... so cute... I love you too Yuzu...

After waking up, Mei cast off her ring and put it back inside the box. "What Mei.. you took your ring off?" A surprised Yuzu startled Mei. "We can't wear it at school. Yesterday I did say, that our relationship has nothing to do with anyone else. However, that doesn't mean I want to announce it to the word." Mei explaining her point to Yuzu with conviction.

"I see, then, our love will be our little secret!!!" Yuzu said happily as she put her ring in the box too a left the room to prepare their breakfast. Mei secretly put again her ring on, when Yuzu poked her head through the door of their room "Oh right Mei, if we go on a date during summer vacation, we can wear our rings together right?" Good thing Mei's facing her back to Yuzu, hiding the blush on her face she replied, "Yeah". "Yay! Thank you! I can't wait for summer vacation!" an excited Yuzu exclaimed.

- (sigh) what am I even doing... Yuzu... I always want happiness for you... anything that will make you happy, I will do as long as I am able to... you really wrapped me around your little finger... (smiling)
