CHAPTER 20

While preparing for the summer sleepover trip...

"Mei, you probably should wear pants. We'll be moving around today so it's better. And... We'll leave the rings here. There's no point if we can't wear them together. But in exchange, I want to make a lovers' link between us. Something that can't be seen. That's why, from now on I thought, I'd like to kiss you once a day..." Yuzu is leaning forward to kiss Mei on the lips...

MEI POV

- gulp! as much as I want to... having a thought of that hickey really makes me... (blushing deeply)... I need to hold back... or else we won't be going anywhere my love... sorry...

"I'm not doing it. We won't be able to make time for the two of us outside right?"

"Yeah but... okay, I thought it was a good idea though..."

MEI POV

- (sigh) the hickey will be the best idea my love... but that one kiss a day... hmm... I'll think about it...

During the trip to the Villa, Mei has been fast asleep since they left.

"Did the President stay up late last night?" Harumin asks Yuzu. "No, it wasn't like that." Yuzu answered nervously because Mei is deliberately sleeping on her shoulder. With this, Matsuri playfully tease Yuzu, "Again, Yuzu-chan? Last night, you got Mei all excited didn't you?"

YUZU POV

- What is Matsuri thinking? What if, the reason Matsuri brought up going on this trip was to... does she have something else up her sleeve...?

As they reach a stopover, the Manager, Matsuri and Harumin went out to buy the ingredients for the barbeque. Yuzu and Mei was left alone inside the car.

"Heeey Mei, if you don't wake up, I'll end up kissing you..."

"What?"

"N-nothing... Mei, there's something I want to discuss with you. Matsuri knows about our relationship and she might be trying to expose us on this trip"

"Yeah!?"

"Yeah? If we're exposed there'd be no point even if we're careful!"

"Sigh... Its probably because you get shaken like that, that she finds it so amusing. Just act naturally with everyone, with me."

"Yeah, I know".

MEI POV

- don't worry my love I will handle Matsuri when it comes to that... you just need to enjoy this time with me... I really hope we could have alone time together.. just the two of us... (sigh)

The group arrived at the Villa safely. Yuzu tried to act cool and natural around Mei when she invited Mei to go fishing, but failed unfortunately. Instead, Yuzu went fishing with Harumin and Nene. While Mei and the others prepare the cooking area and ingredients for lunch.

After Yuzu and Harumin caught a good amount of fish, Yuzu called out Mei to join her.

"Meeeiii!! Come here quick! Fishing is fun!"

Mei was talking with Shiraho-Senpai at the moment, "This is very interesting, I thought this during the festival as well but, ever since meeting Yuzupon, it feels like the world has opened up." Mei answered Shiraho-Senpai before going to Yuzu, "Senpai, there are times I too think that..."

MEI POV

- my whole world changed when you became a part of it, Yuzu... and I can't imagine living in this world without you in it anymore... what should I do now... (sigh)... Yuzu... I don't want to lose you... I can't...

"Well? Is your group going along well?"

"Yes"

"Fishing is really interesting! You have to try it too! Its fun!"

"Sigh... I see..."

"Huh? You don't wanna try? Doing new things is always fun. But as long as I'm with you anything would probably be fun!"

"Say Yuzu... about that one kiss a day... do you want to try?"

YUZU POV

- GULP! OH NO!!!... Mei agrees to the one kiss a day... what now??? I'm freaking out!!!...

MEI YUZU

- heh, a blushing Yuzu is so epic... I really love seeing her like this... that request is the least I could do to Yuzu... as long as it will make you happy, I will do my best... being with you, every minute counts... (sigh)

YUZU POV

- I wonder if its okay to start today...? In any case, for the time being, I'll forget about the kiss...

During their lunch, Harumin noticed that there is something different with Matsuri's behavior and asked Yuzu if she notice it too. Yuzu shrugged the idea and explained to Harumin that even though that's the case, she is happy to see Matsuri hanging out with others.

After lunch, the group went in the Villa and choose their rooms. Matsuri noticed that Yuzu is spacing out, maybe wondering if she would end up being together with Mei in a room. Since Matsuri planned the sleepover trip, she also prepared and even brought lottery for the room assignments.

Room Assignments:

Manager - alone in a room

Mitsuko with Maruta - in a room for two

Shiharo with Himeko - in a room for two

Harumin with Matsuri and Nene - in a 3-person room

And of course...

"We ended up in the same room..."

"It seems so"

YUZU POV

- today's really dangerous!

MEI POV

- I am beginning to feel my heart beating faster... damn...

"I-I guess we're in separate beds today... since we're always sleeping together, its a little disappointing..."

"If you want to sleep together that badly, we can share the same bed... I'm joking."

YUZU POV

- Damnit Mei! I'm seriously troubled!! But how can she say such a joke in a situation... gasp!

MEI POV

-SHIT! what did I just say??!!... this is bad... I'm really blushing now, I can feel the heat goes to the tip of my ears... she'll notice it...

YUZU POV

- I must make sure of this... I can see her face is so red now...

Yuzu leaped towards Mei that made them fall on the bed...

"Were you really joking just now?"

"Is... isn't it obvious?"

"You're lying."

As Yuzu closed the gap between their lips, Harumin knocks on the door and invites them to take a bath together. Yuzu left Mei behind when Mei said she'll take the bath on a later time.

MEI POV

- Damn you Yuzu... how could you... leaving me hanging like this... Ugh, this is really frustrating... how should I get rid of this heat... I really need to take a bath now... but I can't go with Yuzu, everyone might notice our red faces... (sigh)
