MEI AIHARA'S POINT OF VIEW

CHAPTER 10

- We are already dating and yet, it just feels like ordinary... like when we are JUST sisters... is this how dating should be?... I think not... so hmm... what should be the difference?... I have been with Amemiya-Sensei, but I don't think that counts as dating, its mostly just making out, he's just taking advantage of me... but with Yuzu, how should it be?... Ugh, I suck on this... I really have no idea how to do this...

It was already the start of a new semester. Yuzu and Mei are in their Second Year of high school. Yuzu was happy to even learn that she had a fan, which almost got them expelled because of their blonde hair.

One can recall the recent election for the new student council president. Yuzu made herself clear that she do not intend to be a student council president, because she is more determined to be free and to express more of her real feelings. On the other hand, Mei proposed to add new rules to the existing school regulations that will help in the growth of the academy.

Not only did Yuzu impressed Harumi's sister, Mitsuko, but it even got Harumi and her sister to understand each other more and became closer. Which obviously made Yuzu very happy.

Yuzu was in their room remembering all the events that happened when she and Mei started dating. She came across the time when they are at the Chairman's Office.. "Ever since the day Mei and I kissed in the director's room... whenever I see Mei I can only think of perverted things! I am the worst.. I need to do something about it! If this goes on I will never become a sister worthy of respect!" And because of these thoughts, Yuzu came up with a guide book to prevent her mind from going blank from loving Mei too much.

"I have finally completed my perfect guide book! Lets start from this weekend's date." Yuzu said to herself feeling accomplished.

Yuzu tried so hard to bring herself to invite Mei for a date and failed miserably. "My heart is beating really fast, I can't look at Mei directly... But I have to be the one leading!"

Unfortunately, Mei discovered Yuzu's notebook and took it as reference for herself to make Yuzu happy by fulfilling the ideals Yuzu wrote in it.

- This is perfect! this is absolutely what I need!... Yuzu, have you read my mind?... now lets see... where should we begin...

Mei was on her desk reading Yuzu's "notebook" while Yuzu finally mustered all her strength to ask Mei out, "Mei, this weekend, do you want to go on a date with me?"

To Yuzu's surprise, Mei turned to her holding out Yuzu's guide book, "I'll go on a date with you, this is the first step right?".  Mei accepting to date Yuzu almost made Yuzu pass out from happiness.

"Let's start the date." Mei exclaimed while holding Yuzu's guide book. "First off.. Hugging while looking at the sunset"

- Er... is that even right? its still noon...how should we do it, and where?... uhm, Yuzu?

"Mei, that... please read the date plan from the beginning!" Yuzu said in panic.

- Oh.. sorry 'bout that.. so ehem... where were we...

"I'll correctly start over again, holding hands and heading to the movie theater. Quick give me your hand" Mei said while reaching out her hand to Yuzu. Yuzu felt embarrassed and explained to Mei that it is weird. "Yuzu, for this date... this notebook is absolute." Mei implied. With that said, Yuzu immediately ran off to get the movie tickets.

- The movie is boring but I don't want to be rude.. I'm not into romance, I don't even think I can be romantic myself.. but this is for Yuzu.. I want to make her happy.. so what's next..uhm.. yeah, she wants me to hold her hand while watching... but when should I do it... timing... it should be on a perfect timing... yes, this is it! while the lovers on the screen are kissing... my heart is beating so fast, I can do this... you can do this Mei.. its for Yuzu...

"HYAAAH!!!..wa-waiit! wait! don't tell me Mei is.. it looks like Mei is planning to do everything written on the notebook!? I totally couldn't concentrate on watching the movie at all!" Yuzu is screaming to herself as Mei held her hand throughout the end of the move.

- Oh my... my hand is sweating... its good that its dark in here or else she'll see my embarrassment.. my heart is almost leaping out of my chest... my stomach is in circus.. I can feel the steam coming out my body... I have to endure this, whatever this is I am feeling right now... I hope the movie ends soon... but how is Yuzu feeling.. is she happy? I hope she is...

After watching, the couple head to the nearest café to eat lunch. "Hey Mei, don't mind the notebook, you're free to do whatever you like" Yuzu is worried because she knows Mei is not a fan of spicy foods. "I'm fine with this" Mei said while sweating and looking at the spicy food Yuzu ordered.

- Gulp! so red! how hot is this spaghetti? I don't even know this is possible.. water, I need water just in case.. this is for Yuzu.. yeah..

The date went almost according to plan. Yuzu even won a cute little stuffed bear like Anthoniko, the bear she gave Mei last time, in the arcade.

But Yuzu noticed that Mei seems to not be enjoying the date. Mei is so engulfed in the notebook almost ignoring Yuzu. This got Yuzu pissed and throw the notebook out of their way, which it fell to the fountain below. Mei ran down to fetch the notebook.

"Why are you so obsessed with that notebook." Yuzu asked confusedly. "Without this I'm lost" Mei's confession got Yuzu laughing so hard.

- Grrr... I had enough... you really think this is funny? you had no idea how hard this is for me... to do things I'm not used to... to even change to please you...

"The date is over. Lets head home." Mei is so pissed she had enough of Yuzu's mocking.

"Wait, there's still something left. Even though we didn't get to see the sunset... can I hug you right now?... the notebook... it was an absolute must, right?" Yuzu hugs Mei... and Mei surrenders in the warmth of Yuzu's embrace.

- This is one of the best feelings I ever have... thank you Yuzu... I love you...
