I woke up from the blinding rays of golden lights that streamed through the window, gently assaulting my eyelids. Still dazed from my sleep, I looked around and find myself in an unfamiliar bedroom.
"Chaeyoung-Ah." I mumbled lazily with my still hoarse voice. My body intuitively reach for her side, as it achingly craves for her warmth.
"Love.." I mumbled and kissed my still sleeping girlfriend but Chaeyoung must be too exhausted from the flight last night that even my kisses wouldn't stir her from her sleep.
"So I'm not your true love's kiss then?" I whined unconsciously and that's the only time Chaeyoung turned to me with her eyes still shut. She snaked her arms around my waist and snuggled closer to me with her face buried on my chest.
"I'm awake Love. I'm just too sleepy to respond." she answered almost half asleep which made me chuckle at how adorable she is.
"Chaeng-Ah, where are we?"
"Who's house are we staying?"
"And who's room is this?" I asked inquisitively at her as I scan the unfamiliar room. It's twice bigger than her room to be honest. Imagine how big it is.
The room walls were painted in shades of pearl white, soft gray and baby pink which gives highlight to the darkwood floors, giving it a more light and airy vibe. On the other side of the room
is a music studio where various musical instruments were aesthetically displayed. Colorful pop culture paintings decorated the walls giving it a hip and cool vibe.
The owner must love music that much that her personality really reflects on the interior of the room.
"Whe're at home Love." Chaeyoung answered lazily with her face still nuzzled in my chest.
"What? You bought a house here in Thailand?!" I answered in a high tone still at shocked with what she just said.
"Lisa, we didn't purchase a house in Thailand."
"This is my parents' home." she answered casually still unbothered with my reaction.
"Wait, Whaaaat?" I asked again sounding a little stupid still not getting anything from what she's saying. Chaeyoung then pulled away from the snuggle and faced me smiling. She slowly opened her eyes and gave me constant kisses and chuckled teasingly.
"Love, we are not in Thailand."
"We're in Australia."
"It's my surprise for you." She finally answered making me gasped in utter shock and surprise with my eyes wide open.
"OH MY GOD!"
"Please tell me you're not messing with me." I uttered seriously at her but Chaeyoung just chuckled and pinched my nose adoringly.
"Well why don't you take a look outside and see for yourself." she answered with soft chuckles and with out even thinking I got up from our bed and ran towards the window. I excitedly peeked through the window and saw a huge backyard that was neatly mowed. Outside the huge fence were trees and huge grassfields that you don't normally see in Thailand specially in the urban places.
"Chaeyoung-Ah! Oh my God! Look there's a bunny in your garden!" I screamed in amazement as I point at the rabbit who at the moment was sneakily wandering around the garden looking for food.
"Love, rabbits in the garden is just a normal thing here in Autralia. They are so abundant here to the point that rabbits here are considered as the most destructive pest animals. Those are not domesticated rabbits so don't try to pet them once you see one outside." Chaeyoung said matter-of-factly.
