AUTHOR's POV

"Chaeyoung are you feeling alright now?"

"Do you need anything else? A pillow or blanket perhaps?" Irene offered at Chaeyoung who was comfortably  settled in the huge couch. Chaeyoung nods and a sweet smile crept across her pale and dry lips.

"Yeah Unnie, I'm perfectly fine."

"Lisa is getting some pillows for me in our bedroom." She answered assuring and flash a grateful smile but her eyes look tired. It's been a month now after Jamie was born and that trip to the hospital that day has affected her gravely, leaving the doctors with no choice but to put her in a strict bed rest.

Lisa finally emerged with a set of pillows in her hands which Irene took and carefully placed it on Chaeyoung's back while her wife helped her get up and sat her down in a more comfortable position.

"Thanks Unnie, Thanks Love."

"I'm getting back aches lately for always lying in my bed."Chaeyoung mumbled gratefully the moment she finally settled in a comfortable seat.

"Eventhough I'm confined in a bed rest now, I still need to sit from time to time since my back is already killing me." Chaeyoung uttered in a grimaced look which softened Irene's demeanor. The older woman then scooted closer to her and wrap her arms around her, making Chaeyoung smiled warmly.

"What can I do to make you feel better Chaeng? Tell  me?"

"Irene Unnie will do it." She cooed sweetly as she gently caress her arms making Chaeyoung chuckled softly at her. She turned her gaze at her Unnie and smiled.

"Well we can talk and catch up while you caress little Rosie." She suggested as she held the other woman's hand and placed it in her tummy while Lisa sat next to them and just watched them with a weak smile.

"I missed you guys and I'm sorry if we haven't been in touch for quite a time now like we used to before." Chaeyoung uttered weakly which Irene countered right away.

"Chaeng-Ah, there's nothing to be sorry about. We do understand your current condition and God knows all of our friends have been praying hard for you and for your baby to be well."

"So don't worry about it okay? We do miss you guys every day in school but you and your baby's sake is more important to us." She answered sincerely.

"Don't worry, Seulgi and I, we'll visit you guys more often." She added smiling.

"Unnie, how are you and Seul?" Chaeyoung asked suddenly which took her aback with the latter's sudden question. Her gaze then shifted to her girlfriend Seul, who was busy helping the other girls prepare their food at the kitchen and a heartfelt smile suddenly formed across her lips.

"We're better than perfect Chaeyoung."

"There's quite a few adjustment since we started living together months ago but it's all good."

"We do sometimes fight over who's turn it is to have a back massage or who'll have the remote control whenever we watch TV."

"But don't worry, Seul always let me win every time." She said almost giggling as she looks at Seulgi from afar making the other couple besides her chuckle softly. Their moment suddenly turned serious when Lisa suddenly noticed something.

For years that she'd known Irene, she knows when there's something bothering her or whenever she's bottling up her emotions like she always does ever since.
