CHAEYOUNG's POV

"It was supposed to be the happiest moment in my life Chaeyoung." Lisa smiled bitterly. A continous sob finally escaped her lips as she covered her face with shaking hands.

"But everything ended there."

"My life ended there, in the fucking highway near Busan where the accident happened and took my Father's life."

"My life ended there....."Lisa whispered almost breathless as if her soul is on the brink of escaping her.

"Because I lost both them..on that day that accident happened."

And she lost it....
Lisa brokedown as she curl her shaking body.. Her body trembles in an onslaught of sobs of tears..

I pulled her closer and wrap her in my arms never letting go of her.

"Babe, don't lose yourself please.." I whispered at her.. She looked at me helplessly, as flood of tears gushed down her cheeks.

I kissed them..
I kissed them all, wishing I could somehow take it all away.

It was only last night when I was in her place..

I can't imagine Lisa comforting me last night, not knowing she's carrying a greater trauma than mine.

Now I understand the pain in her eyes the very first moment I saw her..

Damn I would do anything. Give anything just for her not to feel this pain again.

I have never seen an angel with a broken wings, a shattered heart and a damaged soul until I saw Lisa brokedown.

"Chaeyoung Ah?" Lisa called me as if she's looking for her strength...Her voice was trembling, a mix of fear and pain.

"I'm here Baby.. Your Chaeyoung is here." I whispered at her lovingly as I caress her face for comfort.

Her eyes were closed, too afraid to be bombarded with painful flashbacks again.

"Love, look at me I said while lifting her chin.
"Open your eyes Love please.. I'm here.. No one's going to hurt you. Just open your eyes.." I whispered begging.

"She slowly opened her eyes and her gaze met mine.
I slowly placed a kiss in her eyes, wiping away her tears..

I kissed it all.

I kissed every features of her beautiful face never leaving a single space until her lips finally met mine..

I never understood why, but there's something about our kiss that gives the both of us an overwhelming sense of comfort.

It's comforting in ways that no words could ever give. I could give her a thousand words and not any of it can ever change a damn thing.

But the moment we kissed, everything drifted away.

Like it's the only cure to all the pain we feel.

Lisa wrap her arms around me and pulled me closer..

This time no one is holding back.
Our kiss deepened.
It was soft, gentle yet passionate, making up for all the pain we've felt over the years.
