CHAEYOUNG's POV

I woke up in the middle of the night quite annoyed and uncomfortable. Seriously it's the 3rd time that I have to wake up and get up because I suddenly felt the need to urinate.

I groggily walked towards the bathroom, leaving Lisa still sleeping in our bed with a book in her hand. She had fallen asleep reading "A Gudie for First-Time Parents" which she bought last week.

I heave a deep sigh and entered the bathroom. 
It's been days since I started experiencing this changes in my body. Even her breast were now all sensitive and swollen.
For days, I just thought that it could only be the effect of the progesterones that I was taking for the IVF process. But lately, I usually got tired easily and there were even days when I'm nauseous and sick with out apparent reason.

My wife would always beg me to take the pregnancy test every night despite my constant arguing on her that the kit would only be able to determine the pregnancy hormone levels in the urine about an estimate of 10 or 11 days after conception and we haven't reach that period yet.

It would be more accurate if it would be done through blood test instead of urine test.

But just to give Lisa some peace of mind, I would always give in to her persistent requests.

I stared at the pregancy test kits that were all stacked  up on the bathroom countertop.

Yeah, you read it right. We have bunch of them since Lisa bought a dozen of that just to make sure I could be tested everynight.

And for the first time since last week, it was the only night that I was able to persuade her to just skip the test part tonight since we're going to the doctor tomorrow for the pregnancy test.

Yeah, that's how obsessed and anxious my wife is about the result.

I stared again at the stack of pregnancy test kits and finally get one.

To hell with the test tomorrow. I'm gonna try it one last time tonight.

I put an ample amout of urine in the cup and dipped the test stick in it. After 10 long minutes that felt like forever, I finally took the test kit out.

My jaw dropped and my eyebrows arched upward as my eyes widened in surprise the moment I saw the test result.

"Oh my Gosh.." I mumbled trembling as I stare at two disticnt lines on the test kit, knowing that from this day on, my entire life is about to change forever.

"I'm pregnant.."

"Holy sh*t I'm finally pregnant!"

"I'm going to be a Mom now." I uttered crying and laughing to myself.

I took another cup and took another test just to be sure and to my utter surprise again, I got the same result.

I guess I will never be used to this kind of feeling.

"Lisa-Yah!!" I shouted with all my might crying, which startled my wife and our dog from sleeping.
Both of them instictively got up and ran as fast towards the bathroom to check on me.

"What is it Love?"

"Oh God what happened to you?" Lisa asked worriedly. She intuitively wrapped her arms around me, enclosing me in a tight hug while her hands were gently stroking my back for comfort.

"Love?" Lisa whispered softly at me but her worry was still evident in her tone. I pulled away still crying and smiling looking like a person in complete emotional mess which worried her more. Lisa cupped my cheeks and gently wipe my tears with her thumbs and placed a soft kiss on forehead.
