Baby scan + Sitting down with the parents

I wake up before Will, I decided to let him sleep in as it's only 8am. I use the bathroom then walk into the kitchen. I stay making us pancakes with fruit. Am a bit nervous for today, because were have a scan and when I was pregnant with Mia I was always nervous because if anything happened to her or me but am hoping everything will be fine. Then we're going round to my moms and telling Maggie and Adeline about the pregnancy. Am hoping they will take it well, we have our appointment at 12 so I told them we would be round At between 1 or 2. I finish making the pancake mix and decided to go sit on the sofa, text Brooke asking how Mia is and watch my show.

Texts between Emma and Brooke:

Morning B, hope you and Jake alright. How is Mia.

Good morning, we're both good. Jake has just taken Mia to nursery. Mia has been proper clingy to Jake, she won't let him put her down or let me hold her. That's why he took her.

Aww bless her, she must love her Uncle Jake. How did she sleep for you both.

She slept like an Angel, she didn't want to sleep in the bed we have for her so she slept in the middle of us but she didn't wake up once.

Wow that's a first, she doesn't even do that for me and Will. She must really love her Auntie and Uncle.

Yeah a bit nervous, but am hoping everything will be fine.

I wake up to Emma not next to me, I get up just having my boxers on, I nip to the bathroom first then a walk downstairs to find Emma on the sofa watching her tv. Good morning babe, how did you sleep (Will kisses Emma). Morning babe, I slept well. I made us pancakes and fruit for breakfast. Wow thanks babe, I'll go grab us some orange juice from the fridge. They both sit on the kitchen island table and talk.

So how you feeling about today. A bit nervous, because like when we found out about Mia and went to the scan I was worried like if there's was no heartbeat or anything was wrong with me or her. Emma I promise you everything will be fine, our baby will be happy and healthy. I wonder how Mia will react to a newborn. I was thinking that, well she will be about 1 when he or she is here. I wonder if boy or girl. Am going for a boy, just feel like it is going to be a boy. What about you. Am thinking another girl, don't know why just have this feeling.

Right we should start getting ready it's 10:30, we should leave at 11:30 because it takes 30 minutes to get there. Yeah we should, I'll just put the dishes in the dishwasher then gonna take a shower. Alright babe, I'll grab a shower in the guest room while you shower in our bedroom. Ok babe, be up in a minute. Emma places the plates, cutlery, pans and cups into the dishwasher then heads upstairs.

After my shower, I dry off then start to do my hair and makeup. I just straighten my hair whilsts having it tied up and finish doing my makeup. I then decided to get dressed wearing my blue flowery dress with my demin jacket as it's quite hot today I don't wanna wear my jeans. Will wears his Nike black shorts with a Nike blue shirt and his trainers.

Are you ready to leave Emma. Yeah, let me just grab my bag, purse and phone. I'll wait for you in the car. Alright babe, be there in a sec. I grab us two bottles of water as it's a hot day, then I leave and make my way to the car. Thank you for the water babe. Your welcome, right let's go.
