I wake up with theses sharp pains, it's about 7 in the morning. I go downstairs and grab a glass of water. I sit down on the sofa and the pain are still there. I look it up on the internet. The Internet says it could be theses contractions called Braxton Hicks, says that it can start before labour. I think we'll I am due in a week and 2 days.

I put on some tv, I just watched same Friends episode. It hits 9 in the morning and my mom comes down. Good morning sweetie, your up early is everything ok. Morning mom, well I've got theses really sharp pain. Have you told Will. No I didn't want to wake him. Emma I think theses are Braxton Hicks they usually start 6 weeks before labour. Yeah but mom am due in a week and 2 days so why didn't they start 5 weeks ago. I don't know Em, but you need to keep an eye on them. I will mom don't worry.

I wake up and Em isn't in bed, I get worried and run downstairs shouting her name. I find her sitting on the sofa. Em there you are, your up early. Are you ok is the baby ok. Morning, am alright I woke up at 7 this morning to sharp pains in my stomach so i came downstairs and the Internet and my mom said that they are the start of Braxton Hicks.

Why didn't you wake me, Em you should of woke me. And wait what are they. I know but I wanted you to sleep in. And there are contractions they usually start 6 weeks before labour but am one week and 2 days till am due.

Do we need to take you to the hospital, how is the pain. No the Internet says to go to the hospital if my waters break so we don't need to go to the hospital and the pains are still really painful.

Em I might phone my boss and say I can't make the flight. No mom, honestly I will be fine I have Will here with me and if anything happens we have the nurses number and Wills mom said she would help. Yeah I know but what if you go into early labour. That's not gonna happy, listen mom go get ready your flight leaves in 3 hours I don't want you being late. Only if your sure, Emma I don't want to miss my first daughter birth. And you won't Mom.

Maggie I promise you I will be on speed dial if anything happens you will know, I promise you. Thank you Will, right I will go get ready.

Em do you want anything. Can you just come sit on the sofa with me. Yeah of course. Will am scared. Aww babe everything is going to be ok, I promise you. Yeah but what if I go into early labour and she doesn't make it. Em I promise you that's not going to happen I promise. Will I don't think am ready. Right am all packed and ready to go. Have you got everything mom. Yes honey, right are you sure your ok with me going. Yes mom, go go have a nice time in London and I hope have a nice time and send loads of photos. Thank you sweetie, now phone me if anything happens and I will be gone for 1 week. 3 hours later: Right why don't I order us some pizza, we have ice cream in the freezer as let's watch a movie marathon. Sounds like the perfect day. So what pizza would you like. Can you get me a large barbecue Hawaiian pizza with extra fries and garlic bread. Yeah of course babe, I'll go order.

Hi there please can I get a large meaty pizza, three set of fries, a garlic bread and a vanilla and chocolate ice cream and also two bottles of Diet Coke. Yes is that everything. Yes thank you. Ok will be delivered in an hour and cash at door it will be $50. Thank you.

I like Bella rose or Emily katie, have you chose any names. So I really like Mia Emma Belmont Duval because I want our daughter to have her moms name as her middle day. Aww Will that's so sweet. So I think we have found a name for her. (Will speak to Emma's bump). Well hello there Mia, we finally picked a name for you and we can't wait to meet you. Aww she's kicking, I think she likes the name Mia.

Here you go babe, thank you aww and you even got me a full tub of vanilla ice cream. Yes I did, I know you like the whole tub. I love you, now let's watch the movie.

It's 3 hours later and Em has fallen asleep in my arms. I gently pick her up and carry her to bed. I tuck her in, and kiss her forehead. I go downstairs and ring my mum to tell her what happened with Emma's pains.

Will on the phone to his mom:

Hey mom, you alright

Yeah sweetie, how are you, Emma and baby girl.

Yeah we both alright I just want to phone you and let you know. Today Emma had sharp pains in her stomach. The Internet said that they are Braxton Hicks its a sign of labour.

Oh yes I had the with you. Is she ok now how is she.

So they have calmed down now, she is asleep in bed. Emma's mom has gone to London for her work. I just wanted to phone you to let you know what's happened.

I get a glass of water, and go upstairs to bed. I take off my shirt and shorts. I am only in my boxers. I get in bed, I put my arms around Emma's stomach kissing her cheek and kissing Mia stomach.
