Emma and Will pregnancy

Mia is 1 week old

I wake up, it's around 12 in the afternoon. Wow I can't believe what time it is, I've never woke up this time of the day. I look over and I see Mia is awake but not crying. I take her out of the cot beside Emma. Am just in my boxers, I pick her up and place her on my chest, she's just stares at my face. I take her downstairs.

We get into the kitchen and I place her into her rocker. She just stares at me, I just speak to her, I know she's not going to answer me but I like having conversations with her.

Right Mia princess, am gonna make myself a smoothie, you gonna help me. So I need cucumber, strawberry, blueberries and oranges. We need to chop my fruit and veg up and then blend it. Right let's make daddy's smoothie shall we Mia. I turn on the blender and Mia start crying, she obviously doesn't like it, I turn it off and pick her up.

Hey hey hey, baby girl it's alright. It's turned off now, did that scary you. Look daddy's here. I place her in my arms, and go over to the sofa and she falls asleep in my arms. I place her in her Moses basket. I think go pour my smoothie into the glass cup and clean up everything. After that I go sit on the sofa and watch basketball highlights.

I wake up, it's around 1:30, god I have never been up at this time before. I look and Mia isn't in her crib, either is Will in bed. I jump up, grab my phone and head downstairs. I see Will on the sofa and Mia next to him in her basket.

Good afternoon babe, that's where you both are. Oh hey babe, yeah sorry I woke up and Mia was awake so I thought I would bring her down with me. How did you sleep. Yeah ok, Mia was up at 1, 4 and 9. Aww you should of woke me. There's no need because all I have to do if put her on my boobs and that's it. Yeah true, when are you gonna start expressing so I can feel her in the night so you can get sleep. Am gonna try today.

Can you believe that she's 1 week only today. I know, it's gone so fast and it's also her actually due date. Omg it is isn't it, I can't believe I gave birth to this beautiful girl a week ago today. Me either. Erm are you going to post anything on Instagram. Yeah am going to do a little post later on. Yeah same.

Would you like a coffee or anything to eat. Can I just have a coffee and toast please. Yeah sure, how many slices of toast. Just the one, actually while she's asleep am gonna try expressing. Yeah, try it now.

Right the instructions say put the hole on the nippy and start pumping. Oh it's doing it, look can you see. Oh yes it is, well done babe. Thanks, can't believe am doing it. So am I. So that fills 5 bags so that will last you for 5 nights. Thanks babe, do I put them in the fridge or freezer. Put them in the fridge, I'll express more tomorrow and keep them in the freezer. Alright perfect.

So I was thinking today, do you wanna go on just a little walk out, because we haven't been out since having Mia. Yeah sure, where to. I was just think to the supermarket, because we need some food, it only like a 20 minute walk down there. Yeah, we could do it when she wakes up. Yes sure, alright brill.

An hour later: Me and Will are just taking and then Mia starts screaming the place down. Aww she's awake, she's probably really hungry. I go over to her, pick her up. Will comes over and helps me with my boob and she starts sucking away. Wow she really is hungry. Oh lord she must be, she's never this quick.

30 minutes later: Right can you get Mia dressed whilst I have a shower and get changed. Yeah of course babe, come her Mia. (Mia burps on Will). Haha that was a big burp Mia princess. God she must of needed that, did you burp on daddy. Right let's go get you ready princess.

I take Mia into her nursery, go to her wardrobe and grab some cute leggings and a long sleeve animal top. I put her on the changing table. She just stares at me whilst I change her nappy. You looking at me princess, you look very cute. Right your all done, shall we go see mommy.
