College tour for Emma

It's a Friday morning, we've been up since 8. Today I have my two college tours the first one is at 12 and the second is at 3. Will's mom is looking after Mia today while we are at the tours. Will is joining me because, he needs to know where he's going when he drops Mia off sometimes at nursery. It's around 9 now, and my mum has just picked up Mia. Me and Will are about to get ready and shower then we have an hour drive to the first college and then a 30 minute one to the second on.

Hey babe, you alright about today. Hey, am a bit nervous but I think it will go alright. And your with me so am not that worried. Aww babe, everything will be fine. Right am gonna go grab a shower. Erm well I was too. Oh what shall we do, hm what shall we do. Will you literally make it so obvious what you want. And can I get what I want. Yeah go on, shower together. Get in, now get in the shower.

30 minutes later: we really have to stop showering together. Ahah, why I love it. It is amazing. Will we do it basically everyday. Yeah and you never complain, ahah. Well I will admit it is amazing. See I knew you would say that. Right it 10 so we need to leave in  an hour. Am gonna get dressed do my hair and makeup then it will probably be time to leave. Erm is this alright to wear today babe. What you wearing about. My jeans, t shirt and shirt over t shirt with my Nike trainers. Yeah it's fine, you will look very fit in it. Erm and you say am bad. Ahah, you are.

Emma you ready to go, it's 11. Yes am coming, right I've got my bag, work I need and the forms. Perfect let's go. I open the door for Emma and let her in. She puts the music on when I get in the car. If feels so strange without Mia in here, crying and laughing away. Yeah it does. I miss her so much. Me too, but we'll see her at 6. Yeah that's true, right have you got the address for the first one. Yes I've put it in the sat nav. Alright let's go.

The whole was there Will keeps his hand on my thigh the whole drive because he know am a bit nervous. We pass the turning sign so I know that we're nearly there. The whole drive here, Me and Will talk about what will happen in a get excepted into this college because it is an hour away it will be hard. We we both said that we will make it work. We pull up at the college, we fine a car parking spot and then walk to the front.

In the office: So it's lovely to meet you Emma. And you Sharon. Now today, am going to see the grades you got, see if there acceptable for the college and then we will go on a tour. Perfect thank you. So have you got your papers and stuff. Yes there here in the folder. Right brill.

We spend about an hour in the office, she asks me questions and looks over my papers. We talk about what would happen and stuff with the nursery they have here, like who would do drop of and pick ups. It is a really nice college. We then go on a tour. She shows us the room Mia will be in. It is a nice room, it has learning and activities for her to do. She also told us about the routine when she will come in the morning, have breakfast, then play and learning, then have a snack, play again then it will be dinner, then after dinner Mia will have an hour or two nap and then tea time. It is a really good routine. We return back to her office.

So Emma it will lovely to meet you today and you Will. It wasn't really nice to meet you too. Now I have good news, I would like to offer you a place in 6 months time, if you would like to accept. Omg that is fantastic news, thank you. You are very welcome, I think that would would do amazing here. Please can I think about it, because I have another college interview today. Because this college and another college were the only ones with nursery's I could find. Yes of course, I didn't expect an answer today. We usually let them sleep on it. 3 hours later: We have have just got back home now. Both college were really nice, Me and Will both said that we will sit down and talk about it. Because the first one is a bit expensive but the second one is free but not the best. So we don't really know what to do. Both of the ladies said that I have 3 days to apply. We just got in, I make a cup of coffee and Will makes a smoothie. We sit down at the table and talk about what to do.

So which college do you wanna pick babe. I honestly don't know, I mean I loved the first one, I love the routine Mia would have and actives she would be doing. Me too, but can we really pay $1000 every month. I know that's what I don't know what to do, because the course I want to do is perfect.

Yeah I get you, but what about the second one. I loved that one too, the nursery was really nice and the course at doing is amazing and the nursery is free. Yeah that what I thought, and it's also only 30 mins away but the first one is an hour away. I just don't know what to pick.

So let's do pros and cons. Yeah let's do that. So pros for first college is good nursery, amazing course, friendly, understand your life and with Mia. Now the cons are an hour away and it's a lot of money. There some good ones, now the second college. The pros are good nursery, friendly and good course. The cons are not the best nursery. See that's the thing I want Mia to be taught well and she will only get that at the first one.

I know but do you think we will be able to afford it, we have to pay bills, food and are cars and we just finishing paying are hospital bills from having Mia. Yeah I know, I might have a word with my mom to see if she can put anything money in.  Yeah, you could babe. What time she coming back at with Mia. She said 6:30. Oh that not long away.

3 days later: It's been 3 days since my two interviews. Me and Will have talked about which college to pick, it's been so hard because the first one I love, but it's expensive and the second one I love too but that's free. So we didn't know what to do. I asked my mom if she could help us out because she hasn't got that much to spare each month. So we were going to go with the second nursery until one day. Will was driving the training when he passed this new nursery opening in a few months, it a 10 min drive from Wills college and it's is free for newborn to 4 year olds.

We decided to apply and Mia got a place there. She will go there for a week like a taste week. She starts in two months. And I decided to go for the second college because it's only 30 minutes away and it's a really good college and course. I start in 6 months time. Am really happy that Mia has a nursery to go too and I have a place at a college.
