Weekend getaway

I wake up to the sound of Mia screaming crying next to me. It's around 9 in the morning, I get up and throw on my t shirt and boxers. I pick up Mia and take her to her nursery, give her a nappy change then take her downstairs to feed her bottle. I let Emma sleep in for a bit. Mia stands up in her bouncer while I make her bottle. When it's done, we sit on the couch and watch Peppa pig while I feed her. She loves watching it, she has this cute smile while watching it. I mean I sometimes like watching it to but if anyone found out they would be laughing there heads off at me. Mia finish her bottle so I burp her and place her on her play mate while I go make me and Emma breakfast for when she wakes up.

I wake up to find Will and Mia not in bed. They must be downstairs and Will must of let me sleep in what is sweet of him. I grab my phone and look at my notifications. Am notification pops up, and it's a weekend trip away on. It's says 'couples weekend trip away to Italy'. I look at it, and it's cheap, I really wanna go but I need to speak to Will. We both need a weekend to ourselves. I get out of bed and put my pj bottoms on and head downstairs. I reach downstairs and see Mia playing and watching Peppa pig and I see Will in the kitchen making breakfast. I decided to sneak up on him.

Am cooking Me and Emma blueberry pancakes with smoothie. Am making the mix and suddenly I feel theses hands around my waist. Ahh, well good morning to you too. Ahah that's scared didn't it. Morning babe. Yeah it did, how did you sleep babe. Yeah I slept alright, how long has Mia been up since. What time is it now. 10:30, has she had her bottle. Oh she's only been awake for an hour and a half and yeah she had it watching Peppa pig. That's not bad then, what you making. Am making us both blueberry pancakes with a smoothie. Well it smells amazing, thank you. Your welcome, actually it's really if you wanna sit on the kitchen seat. So what do you want to do today.

Well I wanted to speak to you about something. Go on babe. I got a notification on my phone just before and it was a weekend getaway to Italy. And I was thinking why don't we go. Who will look after Mia. Am sure my mom can if not Brooke and Jake can because I know your mom is out of town this weekend. Well then what are you waiting for, book it. Really babe. Yes, we deserve a weekend to ourselves especially for some extra fun involved. Will you do know we won't just be doing that. Yeah I know, so when do we leave. We leave tomorrow so Thursday at 9 in morning and then come back home on the Sunday at 11 so we will be home on the Monday morning. Perfect, right well we need to pack and get a few bits. I'll ask my mom if she can look after Mia if not I'll ask Brooke. Alright, we'll am going to go give Mia a bath and change her. Thank you babe.

Emma and Brooke's messages:

E: Hey, sorry to bother you but would you and Jake be able to have Mia tonight until Monday night.

B: Hey, aww your not bothering me. We would love to Em, why where are you and Will.

E: We have decided to book a weekend away to Italy just so we can have some us time and alone time together. And spend some time together.

B: Aww yeah, you both deserve it. It will be nice for you both to spend some time together.

E: Yeah it will.

B: What time would you like me to pick Mia up at?

E: Could you pick her up at 7 because he bedtime is at 8 so she should be sleepy when you come so will then go down easily.

B: Perfect, I will see you at 7.

E: See you at 7, and thank you again.

In the bedroom: There's my little Princess, did you enjoy your bath. Yeah she did, so who's looking after Mia. Brooke and Jake because my mom can't get time off work. Are they alright with that. Brooke said that she's happily look after Mia, she's picking her up at 7 tonight and looking after her till Monday. That's good then, am actually really excited to get away for a few days. Me too, it will be nice for just us to to have some time together. Yeah it will, right the suitcases are under the bed. Yeah we'll take one each, we can go target in about an hour to get everything. Yeah that's fine, make a list of what we need. I will do.
