Decorating the nursery

It's a Saturday morning it's around 8am, I woke up to the bird yapping outside our window. Will is still sleeping I decided to make myself a cup of coffee and sit on the sofa watching some Tv. Am now 7 and a half months pregnant, me and Will our still in shock that we're having a baby again. Mia is still a bit young to understand but she's knows that I have a baby growing in my stomach, she always hugs my stomach and gives it kisses. She's at my moms house this weekend because my mom has been work for the past month and not seen Mia much and she asked if she could take her for the weekend.

I wake up to Emma not next to me. I jump out of bed and walk downstairs to find Emma sat on the sofa. Good morning babe, what you doing up early. Morning, the birds woke me up and I couldn't sleep. How is Mia. My mum texted says that's she is still asleep but she's been good as gold. Aww that's good and she's definitely a daddy's girl with still asleep at 9am. Ahaha I thought that. So what do you fancy doing today. I thought we could make a start on his nursery. Sounds good to me, well we have his cot, changing table and rocking chair. So we need paint, rug, clothes, changing mat, bouncer, pram, car seat and other stuff. What theme do you want for him. I really want an zoo animal theme, think it will be nice. Right ok, we'll we'll shower and have breakfast then we will leave. Sounds good to me, I'll make up some porridge am not that hungry. Alright babe, am gonna go take a quick shower if that's ok. Yeah that's fine.

While Will is showering I make us blueberry porridge with fruit and fresh orange juice. While am making it I decided to phone Brooke we always call each other in the morning for our weekly chats.

Hey girl, how you doing this morning. Hey, am good just making me and Will breakfast. How's your week been. Yeah it's been good, oh yeah remember that interview I went for on Tuesday. Yeah the hair and beauty one. Yes that one, well I got the job I start next month. Omg Brooke congratulations. Thank you. Hey me and Will our going nursery shopping for baby boy today, why don't you and Jake come round tonight and we can celebrate. That sounds perfect, what time shall I come round at. Come round at about 5:30, we can order takeout, watch a movie and you can both sleep over. Thank you, I'll bring some non alcoholic wine for us all. Perfect, looking forward to it. It will be nice, right I'll see you at 5:30. See you then.

Ooo this smells amazing, made us some fresh fruit and fresh orange juice too. Thanks babe. By the way Brooke and Jake are coming round tonight if that's ok. Yeah of course, any occasion. Well Brooke got the job for the hair and beauty and I thought we could all celebrate. Sounds good. Thought we could order takeout, watch a movie and I said that they could both stay over if they want. Yeah that's fine, I'll get some beers for me and Jake while we're out. Brooke said that should we bring round some non alcoholic wine. We can get some popcorn and snacks from target. Yeah that sounds good.

After breakfast I shower then get ready. I wear my blue demin jeans with a black maternity shirt and my Nike Air Force. Will wears his grey Nike tracksuit with his white Nike Air Force. Ready to go babe. Yes let's go. We get in the car, I connect my phone to the wire and but my music on. We arrive at the baby shop, Will helps me out of the car and we walk in.

Right let's grab a cart. Right so we need to pick out a stroller first. Em what about this one, it's like the one we had for Mia. Ooo yeah it is, let's get this on but in navy blue. Right I'll got the ticket for it. We then get a blue stars changing mat, then a white rug, we also get some zoo animal pictures and storage boxes. We also pick out this white fluffy stool and large giraffe teddy. After the nursery stuff are done we grab some bottles, dummies, breastfeeding pads and bags. We finish up and so pay at the till.

So you would like this navy stroller, the bouncer and navy car seat. Yes please. Would you like them to be delivered, we can deliver them in an hour. Oh yeah that would be amazing please.
