"I know, and I'm sorry. But before you go and hex me, let me put my hair up in a bun, it's been bothering me all day." Sirius says. He's got to be kidding me right now.
"Black, are you serious?!" I yell, instantly regretted my choice of words. If he says the joke-
"Yes, I am Sirius, nice to me cha." He jokes while holding out his hand. Can he not take one this seriously-wait- DANG IT.
"Can you be real for one minute?!" I yell. Remus just observing the situation.
"Alright, alright, calm down." He says putting his hands up as a motion for me to chill.
"Why are you here, Black." I say, lowering my voice. Still a bit heated though.
"Listen, I'm sorry. Both of you. I didn't mean to spy up on you-" He starts before I cut him off.
"DIDN'T MEAN TO SPY UP ON US?! So you just HAPPEN to be here in the forest where we also HAPPEN to be!" I shout.
"LISTEN, I know it sounds awful, but-" He stops.
"But what?" I ask.
"I can't lie anymore." He started as he faces Remus.
Sirius" POV:
I turn to face Remus. I can't believe I'm doing this right now. Okay, here goes nothing. I slowly walk over to him so that Y/N can't hear me.
"Listen Remus, I know you like her but she has been on my mind ever since that train ride to Hogwarts. I have not stopped thinking about her. And I know this is wrong of me but she is just so...I can't explain it Moony, but I really think I like her. And I know that's shocking news coming from me. But have you seen her. She is beautiful, humorous, smart, kind, and she is everything I want in a lady." I go to explain. Careful not to let Y/N hear me.
After my rambling and explanation, Remus just stares at me. His eyes looking at the ground, his breathing not changing pace, basically not showing any emotion. But I can tell, on the inside, he is hurt.
"It's okay Pads, I knew it was going to happen. She is perfect, why would she go for a monster like me." He says sadly. Oh shit. No no no no, now I feel awful.
"No, Moony, you are a brilliant, kind, and handsome man, any girl or guy would be lucky as cheese to go out with you." I tell him sincerely while placing my hand on his right shoulder.
"Thanks, Sirius. That means a lot." He says kindly. "Now, go get you're girl." He finished while giving me a 'you have my permission' look.
"Thanks, mate. I owe you a big one." I tell him.
I turn back, now facing Y/N. I can tell she looks mad. Okay, now, just win her over. You got this. She won't resist my charm.
Y/N's POV:
Sirius just leaves me hanging saying 'I can't lie anymore' like, okay then tell me. He then turns away from me to face Remus. Then talk for a few minutes. I wonder what is so important that they need to talk about this instant. I just want to know why Sirius did what he did. After a few more minutes, Sirius finally faces me. He slowly walks towards me. Ugh. What an idiot.
"Took you long enough. Can you please explain." I say, getting impatient.
"Look,-" I cut him off again.
"I am looking at you. You're right in front of me so it's hard not to." I say.
"You're looking at me because I'm so good looking, I know." I comments back.
"I think we're talking about different things because what I'm seeing, isn't good looking." I spat back.
"Coming from you." He says back.
I was going to say something else, but instead, I just wanted to leave. I turned around and tried to just get out of there.
"WAIT! Y/N, I'm sorry." He finally admits.
"Sorry for what." I say, stopping in my tracks.
"Uhh- I don't know." He says. Dumb arse.
"You don't know?! How about, I'm sorry for spying on you. I'm sorry for ruining my date. I'm sorry for being just a selfish jerk. I'm sorry for being a cocky, dumbarse. I'm sorry for being an idiot. Would you like me to go on?"
"No no, you've definitely shown your point." He stops me.
I slowly walk back up to him, "Just...leave me alone." I simply say. With a settle tone. And with that, I walked away.
Remus' POV:
I was standing on the side, watching everything that was going down. Actually what I saw was Y/N being a bad arse and Sirius being a complete moron. As much as I truly liked Y/N, I let Sirius have her, or try to get her. It's about time he settles down, and its only a matter of time until she finds someone new and better. I didn't want to be the one getting hurt if she decides to leave. I know that's selfish and rude to Sirius, but now he will know how it feels when he plays around with other girls and their feelings. It's not right of him. But I'm always going to be there for him, no matter how thick his skull is. He is still my best mate.
"Hey, it's alright Pads, she'll come around. I'm sure of it. And if now, it's her loss." I try to reassure him.
"No, it's my fault. I'm a fool. I mean, who spy's on their crush and best mate on their date?!" He says. Every word sounding louder and louder.
"Yeah, that one is on you bud. But, Like you said, she is kind. She will come around." I reassure him again.
"Thanks Moony, glad you're here."
"Well, I was here before you so..."
"Come on man, we were just having a moment."
"Well, so were Y/N and I but you ruined that so.."
"Alright, forget it. Let's go before I round house your arse."
After that, Sirius and I just went back to the castle. We hope to see Y/N there so we can both explain out sides of the story but, I guess it'll have to wait. Sirius better not ruin this.
