School and a Question

Potions was finally over. I've had enough of Sirius trying to talk to me. I'm not even mad at him about that dumb prank, he is just so annoying. Same with James but Lily likes him so I can't so anything about that. I tolerate Peter and Remus tho. Though, Peter and I never really properly spoke or had a conversation. After Potions I have Charms. My least favorite class. Don't get me wrong, Professor Flitwick is a great teacher, but he gives so much work and I don't have time for that. I hate it even more because I have James and Sirius in there. The two guys I dislike to most out of the Marauders. I don't even have Lily in that class, or any of the girls. I have it with the Ravenclaws though. At least they are nice and less annoying than Potter and Black. Maybe I'll just think of a plan for 'Jily' to happen during class. Come to think of it though, I'm going to have to speak with Sirius, including the others, about it. This whole plan this is probably not even necessary to do, but I'm nosy and I'm tired of Lily not accepting her feelings she has with James. I finally arrive to class, looking like a mess. Not even a hot one. I stop right before entering the room to adjust my appearance when I hear an annoyingly familiar voice behind me.

"Well hello there, Y/N. Don't you look lovely." He says while eying me up and down.
"Oh shut it, Black. I don't want to listen to your disgusting flirtatious comments today." I say while rolling my eyes. I try to push my way passed him but he gets in front of me. James is just laughing, standing beside him.
"Why won't you talk to me?" He asks with a more serious tone.
"Because I don't want to." I say. Trying to keep it straight and simple.
"How come? Every lady here wants to talk to me." He says cockily.
"Well I'm not like every lady here now am I, Black." With that, I finally push passed him and into the classroom.

Everyone is finally present for class, I sat next to two Ravenclaws, one on my left and the other on right. One has platinum blond hair, about shoulder length, maybe a bit longer. The other one had dirty blond hair and dimples. I noticed because he was smiling for some reason. They both are quite light skinned but both had very different personalities. One seemed kind of cocky and the other seem quite shy. Oh well, better than having to sit next to Potter and Black.

"Hello there, I'm Gilderoy Lockhart. And you are?" He says suddenly and quite confidently.
"Oh, I'm Y/N." I say, not really trying to start a conversation at the moment.
"Ahh, pleasure to meet you." He says, holding out his hand in signal for me to shake it. What the in the fuck knuckles. I try to be a polite as I can, I shake his hand, his unnecessarily clammy hands. I turn back to face forward when I hear another voice.
"Well if we are doing introductions, I'm Xenophelious Lovegood." He says. He has more of a calming voice.
"Hello, I'm Y/N, but you probably already heard." I say, definitely making a fool out of myself. Ugh, I probably sound and look like such a goof right now.
"Yes," he says with a slight chuckle, "I did." He finishes.

After we got that out of the way, class finally started. It was going fine, we just learned about some charms and their uses. Then of course Professor Flitwick decided it was a great idea to assign us a buttload of homework. Yaayy. I complain mentally. We had about five more minutes of class left to ourselves. I notice James and Sirius on the other side of the classroom, joking and laughing their arses off when suddenly Sirius' eyes and I met. Great. Just as I though this day couldn't get worse. That's so embarrassing. I mentally scold myself. I looked away as fast as I could. Hoping he didn't notice the red on my cheeks from embarrassment.

"Are you alright?" Xenopheilous asks me. Casing me to snap out of my trance.
"Oh, uh, yea I'm okay. Thanks." I say trying now to show my embarrassment.

Class was finally over. It wasn't the worst, well besides the whole eye connection shit, and all the work that's the in two days. Aside from that, I think I made a friend. Might be to soon to call him a friend but whatever. I'm talking about Xeno by the way, not Gilderoy. He seems kind of gross, not to sound harsh or anything.

It's about 12:15-ish, we have lunch now. Thankfully, I'm done my classes after lunch. The staff have meetings to go to which gives the students the rest of the day off. I really need to get my work done if I want to have a nice and peaceful weekend. I get to the grant hall, I find Lily and the girls already eating. I walk up to them. They greet me and motion me to sit down with them. During lunch we just ate and caught up on a few things. I told them the encounters I had in Charms class. They just laughed at me. I didn't tell them about the eye contact thing though. I didn't think it was necessary to share.

"So, Lily. Anything new with you and Potter?" I ask her. The girls and I lean our ears towards her, hoping she will spill.
"Guys, nothing is going to happen. It was just a stupid kiss. It meant nothing." She says with an eye roll.
"What meant nothing?" A voice said, coming from behind Lily and I. Shit.
"Boys, what are you doing here." I say bluntly.
"Cool it Y/L/N, we were forced to come. James wants to see Lily." Sirius said. I simply roll my eyes and then back to face my plate filled with food.
"What is it that you need, Potter?" Lily says.
"I wanted to see how my dear Lilyflower was doing." James says with a cocky grin. He's been around Sirius to much.
"Well, if you don't mind, we're eating." Marlene cuts in.
"Guys." Alice says. Marlene mouths 'What?' while Alice gives her a 'Be nice' look.
"Yea, come on guys." Sirius says.
"Oh shut it, Black." Marlene says. Haha, that's my girl
"Is that all then, Potter." Lily said.
"You didn't even answer my question." He says with a small pout.
"I don't have time for this." I whisper to myself. And with that, I get up and start walking out of the Great Hall.

I was just about to exit the Great Hall when I felt a grip on my forearm. It was gentle grasp, but it was able to stop me. I turn around, hoping it's not who I think it is.

"Oh, hey Remus, what's up?" I say. Thankful it's not Sirius.
"Uhh- I was just wondering if- if you wanted to uh-" he stutters.
"Hey, take you time." I say, with a sweet smile. Trying to reassure him.
"I was wondering if you wanted to hang out, or something." He says while looking down.
"Yea sure, where and when?" I say. I really like Remus, he is a great guy. But I hope he doesn't me like a date-date. I just don't feel that way about him. Oh well, we'll find out I guess.
"Maybe like the library or Hogsmeade. Or I can plan something. And this weekend, if you're free." He suggests.
"Yea, that sounds fun. Let me know when and then you can surprise me." I say with a sweet smile. I then continued off.

I went the the common room. I was about to tackle some homework when I heard people barging into the common room. Can I never get peace and quite. I mentally curse to myself. I look over to see who it was. And of course, it was the Marauders. The girls followed them after. They are like starting to become a friend group now. Since uh- when? I though to myself. I rather not be apart of it, but I won't be surprised if I get dragged into it. I look to find Lily, I notice her actually smiling while talking to James. Okay, this is getting really strange now. I continue to think to myself. Since when did Lily smile around James?! I questioned myself. I try and continue my work when I notice a figure start walking towards me. Fucking hell. I curse mentally. I look up, and to no surprise at all, it's Sirius Orion Black. Wow. Shocker.

(A/N: hey guys. Sorry for the late upload. Been really busy. And I know I keep saying that but it's true lol. Anyways, the timeline and people probably don't add up but oh well. I just needed some new characters. I will try to upload whenever I have the chance! Thank you to those of you that are taking time out of your day to read my story. I know the story line is still messy. But I'm trying to clear it up. Okay, enjoy the rest of my story.)
