Dumb Boys

"What's up?" I say. Looking at him directly in the eyes.
"Umm....." He hesitates.
"So, what's the next step to bring Lily and James together." Remus says. I don't think that's what he was really trying to say but I won't push him.
"Oh, I totally forgot about that whole idea. To be completely honest, they have been doing great on their own. I don't think we really need to do anything about it. As long as they don't get in a fight, we'll be good." I say happily.

"POTTER, YOU FUCKTARD!"
"WHAT DID I DO, LILYFLOWER?"
"STOP CALLING ME THAT YOU IDIOT!"

I look at Remus. "Oh no." We say in unison.

Lily comes rushing in the common room. She looks furious. James come in not to long after. He looks scared, worried, and nervous all at the same time. I go over to Lily to ask her what happened. But she walks straight up to the girls dorms.

"James, what the bloody hell happened." Remus asked him.
"I have no idea. Can you please, please, get her to come out so I can talk to her." He looks at me and begs.
"I don't know, James. She is bloody stubborn." I say, feeling confused about this while situation.
"Come on, please Y/N! She won't talk to me." He continues.
"Well, what did you do to make her not want to talk to you?" I question.
"I don't know, Sirius and I were just fucking around with snivillous, and the next thing you know, she yells at me." He says. You dumb shit

After his explanation, I don't say anything back. I just turn my back, and walk upstairs to Lily.

"Hey Lily, it's just me." I say while knocking on the door.
"Come in." She says quietly.
"Are you alright?" I ask her.
"Yea, it's just. Right when I though he was getting better, he does something stupid." She says while sniffing.
"Yea, I know, I'm sorry about that." I say, trying to ease her.
"It's alright I guess." She says, sounding less sad.
"Not that I'm on anyone's side or anything but, I though you didn't like Snape after he....y'know...called you...-"
"The m-word, yea I know. I never said I didn't like him, I was just really upset. But that doesn't mean Potter and Black could to mess with him." She says.
"What....did they do, exactly? I ask her. Scared for the response.
"It was a whole fucking process." She starts off. "Potter and Sirius went up to snape, pretending to be nice, and hand him a sweet. The sweet turned out to be Ton-Tongue Toffees...his tongue slowly grew to be like four-feet long. And then Black poured this pink, sticky substance on him, and then James dumped glitter on top, and lastly, to finish it all off, they pulled his pants down and ran for it." She explained, sounding as disgusted as I am. Why the hell would they do that. That's awful.
"I'm sorry you had to witness that mess." I apologize to her.
"It's not your fault. It's Potter's and Black's." She tells me. That is true.
"Let's go get lunch alright, we can ignore them for the rest of the day. Forever even, up to you." I tell her.
"Thanks Y/N, you're such a great friend. I love you." She says. She then engulfs me in a hug.
"I love you too, Lils." I say.

After our hug, we head down. Before actually leaving, James pulls me aside.

"If you don't mind Potter, I would like to get lunch so please leave me." I say while trying to escape.
"Wait, what did she say? When will we be able to talk again?" He rambles. I stare at him angrily, roll my eyes, and walk off.

"Come on Lily, let's get out of here." I say, loud enough for James to hear.

We exit the common room, and who do we run into? Sirius Black. Ugh, are you fucking joking.
"Y/N, Lily, wait!" He says, trying to stop us. We simply walk pass him. I then feel a tight grip on my forearm.
"Black, let go of me." I say, struggling to get out on his grasp.
"Let her go, Black." Lily says calmly. But her voice has a hint of anger in it. And with that, he lets me go. We walk away quickly. Damn, we just wanna eat.

We finally arrive at the feast. We sit down at the Gryffindor table. We start filling out plates with delicious food. Lily and I chat and joke around. We eventually see the other girls. Marlene, Mary, and Alice, I feel like I haven't seen them in a while.

"Hey ladies. Long time no see." I say while shoving my face with Mac&Cheese. My favorite.
"Heyyy, what have you girls been up too?" Marlene says.
"Not much, well, that's a lie. Lily? Care to explain." I say, looking at Lily.

Lily explain to the girls about the whole pranking situation. The girls had the same reaction as us.

"Those thick heads." Mary mummers under her breath. We all hear her though. We just chuckle at her comment.
"That's so cruel of them. Yea we don't like Snape either, but that was uncalled for." Alice states. We all nod our heads in agreement.

We continue talking and just catching up. Ugh, I missed this. We then see the boys, laughing, yelling and pushing each other around. Remus not so much, he is more the look out to make sure no one gets hurt. I feel bad that he has to always watch over the guys. After seeing them, I look at Lily to see how she would react. We both had the same reaction. So us girls decided to go to the common room. We all get up as a group, the other boys on the other end of the isle, we are face each other, walking towards each other. The girls and I look hot as hell, we all have our resting bitch faces on. They stop in their tracks, but we simple walk pass them without saying a word. Bad bitch exit, check.

"Can I just say, we looked hot as fuck walking out of there." I tell them. They all laugh and agree with me. I love my girls.

It was about 6:00 now, the girls went to get dinner, but I stayed in the common room. I wasn't that hungry. Just my luck, the boys come marching in the common room. I'm still also upset about what the boys did to Snape. I'm not mad at Remus or Peter though. Even though I don't know Peter that well. He seems like a nice person though. I was peacefully sitting on the couch reading and then they all come running towards me. Ugh, for real, I'm so done with people.

"Hello Remus and Peter." I say while smiling at them, I then look at Sirius and James, "What do you boys want." I say bluntly, looking at them with straight faces.
"We just wanted to apologize." Sirius says.
"Yea, and I just really need to talk to Lily." James cuts in.
"She doesn't want to speak to either of you, nor do I. Now if you two don't mind, I'm going to bed, before either of you do anything stupid that you'll regret. Good day." I then get up from the couch slamming the book I was reading. But again, I get stopped.
"Oh. It's you Remus, what's up?" I ask.
"They really are sorry, y'know." He says quietly.
"It's not me they should be apologizing to, its Lily." I tell him. I then walk up to the dorm, waiting for the girls to show up.

After a lot of reading by myself, the girls finally show up.

"Took you long enough. It's 7:30, did it take you an hour and a half to eat?" I joke.
"Sorry Y/N, we lost track of time." Mary says.
"It's alright, I was just kidding." I told them.

Mary, Alice and Marlene get settled in their pajamas. I go over to Lily's bed and talk to her.

"Hey, I was talking with Remus, and he says that the boys are really sorry." I tell her.
"Yea? Well they haven't told me that yet." She says. I just look at her, giving her a 'really?' look.
"Alright, fine, I'll talk to them. But you have to come." She says.
"Fine. Whatever." I say.

The girls finally come out of the bathroom. We end up talking and joking for the rest of the night. It was 11:00 when we decided to go to bed. I was last to fall asleep though. I always am, but then at 11:30, I eventually drift off to sleep.
