Chapter 6

"Hold my hand so that you won't get lost." Kento offered Shouko his hand but the girl only stared at it like it came from another planet.

Kento realized she wasn't going to hold his hand anytime soon so he took the initiative to hold hers and pull her along with him as he walked. The people on set were wondering who she was and they openly stared at her as they walked by.

Shouko was starting to regret her decision to go with him but all of her negative thoughts soon faded when Dori came into view. He was still getting his make up done for the next shoot.

"Oh, who might this lovely lady be?" The director, Shinsuke Sato, spoke.

Shouko didn't realize that they already stopped walking. Her eyes went wide at the person in front of her and she immediately bowed her head.

The director laughed and introduced himself. Shouko couldn't even think of anyone else apart from the man in front of her. He was a big part in her life, having directed the movies she usually watched.

"Oh! I almost forgot to introduce myself, I apologize." She quickly said, realizing she hasn't said anything. "I'm Haruno Shouko. Nice to meet you, sir. I'm a big fan."

Shinsuke Sato grinned an nodded his head. He was taken by how polite she was. Then he turned to Kento, expecting him to further explain why she was there on the set.

"Shouko here is a childhood friend that I just recently came across with." Kento explained.

Shouko furrowed her eyebrows slightly, not really agreeing with him on that. However, she didn't say anything to object. If she did, then she probably would be kicked out of the set and she didn't want that.

"Well, we need extras for the next scene..." Shinsuke Sato trailed off and gave Shouko an expectant look. "...would you like to be part of the film? Only as an extra, of course."

Shouko pinched herself to make sure it wasn't all part of a dream. She seems to be doing that a lot lately. After confirming that it was indeed a reality, she slowly nodded.

"Good! Well, you can be part of the military sect and carry a gun. I don't think you're the type to be comfortable with getting touched so I'll just choose from the other girls for that." Shinsuke Sato said and he was right.

If he had told Shouko that she had to be touched inappropriately, she would have refused right away even if it meant not getting to be part of the series.

"But, you have to be present for the rest of the episodes just in case." He added and Shouko nodded.

"I think a dark shade of green would look good on you." Kento suddenly spoke up, getting both of their attention.

"What?" Shouko asked dumbly. She had forgotten she has to change her clothing for the shoot.

"Your bikini." Kento simply said and walked over to the small rack of two-piece swimsuits. He held up a pair that matched his description.

"Well, go on. We'll start shooting once I've gathered enough people." Shinsuke Sato said before walking away.

Shouko nervously stared at what Kento held up. She wasn't that confident about her body even though other people kept telling her she looked great, it only added to her anxiety.

Kento smiled when she finally took hold of the swimwear. Without a word, he guided her to the changing room. It took her only a few minutes to finally put on the clothing but still, she wouldn't come out.
