I'd like to apologize for the last chapter, including this one and the rest of the following chapters of this book lmao
While I give my characters some of my traits, fears, hobbies, preferences, etc., I also base off a lot of situations on real life events that I've witnessed or been in.
Sorry if I made you guys mad or upset. I don't want a perfect story, I don't want perfect characters. I try to make them as human as they can be.
Anyway, only a couple more chapters until the ending!

Nijiro waited and waited until he couldn't take it anymore. He left when the sun came up but only to take a shower and get some clothes.
There was still hope, he can still ask for her forgiveness. She might not forgive him but he can still try. He didn't want her to think that he didn't care about her.
As he stood under the shower, he roughly cleaned his body. He badly wanted to forget what happened only a few hours ago, he wanted to turn back time and stop himself from doing something so stupid.
Nijiro glared into the mirror. He hated himself, he hated what he has done. Just for a moment of pleasure, he threw away something so precious. It was the most idiotic thing he has ever done.
Before he knew it, he punched the mirror and instantly broke it. The blood dripped down to the sink, shards of glass burying in between his fingers.
But the pain it gave him was nowhere near to the pain he made Shouko feel and he hated himself even more.
"When are you going to break up with him?" Dori asked handing Shouko a cup of hot cocoa.
"B-Break up with him?" Shouko spoke just above a whisper, looking up at him with doe eyes.
"What? You're seriously thinking of forgiving him after what he did?" Dori laughed dryly, annoyed rather than amused.
Shouko looked down, not knowing what to tell Dori. Even after what Nijiro did, she didn't want to let him go, she didn't want to let anyone else have him.
Dori clenched his jaw and decided to drop it for now. He walked over to the other side and took a seat, both of them quietly sipping on the hot drink.
They stayed there until the sun started to rise. Shouko finished the last drop of her drink and went over to his sink to wash the cup.
A pair of arms wrapped around her frame and she instantly froze, feeling a pair of lips graze her neck. Her heart pounded in her chest and she dropped the cup in the sink. Luckily, it didn't break.
"Y-You knew...." Shouko whispered, realizing what he said to her earlier. He knew they were together and he still did things to her. She was stupid enough to let him.
"Does it even matter now?" He muttered, burying his face against her neck. "You're going to break up with him anyway."
"I won't...." She whispered, making him pull away to look at her.
"What did you just say?" Dori asked in disbelief. He wasn't sure if he heard her correctly but it sounded like she said she won't break up with Murakami.
"I won't break up with him." Shouko spoke much clearer now.
Dori chuckled dryly, shaking his head at her. "You're just confused, you'll realize what you have to do later when it finally dawns on you what he did."
Shouko didn't know what to say. She was aware of what Nijiro did, she was there when he did it with another girl.
"W-We're on a break....maybe he just..." Shouko tried to make up an excuse for Nijiro's behavior but Dori just laughed.
