"Sorry!" Shouko apologized instantly when Dori hissed at her touch. She was currently treating his bruise since it had gone worse the next day.

"He managed to hit me twice. But I didn't even get to hit him at least once." Dori sighed and winced once again as the cotton came into contact with the cut on his cheek.

"Didn't you say violence is never the answer?" Shouko asked with a chuckle.

Dori pouted, annoyed by the words that came out of his mouth last night. "I should have punched him back at least once."

Shouko shook her head and continued to treat him. He had a bruised jaw and a bruised cheek with a rather bad cut; his cheek was worse, it was already turning a bit purple. Last night, she couldn't even see properly. She hadn't noticed the cut until morning and Dori did nothing to treat it himself.

Dori chose to stay there that day and Shouko pretended that she was sick so that she would be excused from her classes.

"I'm really sorry about this." Shouko whispered, still carefully cleaning the cut. She was trying her best not to let her hand shake too much.

"How many times do I have to say it? This isn't your fault." Dori told her.

Dori wasn't even mad at the one who punched him. In fact, he wanted to thank the guy. Because of what he did, Dori got to spend more time with Shouko.

"There, all done!" Shouko happily said right after putting a bandaid on the cut.

"Do I still look handsome?" Dori asked with a playful smile.

Shouko sighed and chuckled before rolling her eyes at him. "Yes, you're still handsome."

Dori grinned at this and didn't say anything else as he watched her put everything back on the medical kit.

Shouko put the kit back inside the bathroom closet before going in her room to check on her kitten. Little Niragi was still asleep but she wanted to pet him so bad.

The kitten meowed in annoyance and moved to a higher level so that she wouldn't be able to bother him. Shouko smiled and chuckled. There were times that he would be sweet and clingy. But there were also times that he just wanted to be alone.

Shouko went back down to see Dori still on the spot she left him. "Aren't you hungry or something? Sorry, I'll cook lunch now."

"You always apologize even when you shouldn't." Dori chuckled and followed her to the kitchen.

The two didn't say much after that, they were too busy having fun cooking with each other. When Dori's phone rang, he excused himself to take the call. He had forgotten that he was scheduled to record his song that day.

"Hey, it's done. We can eat now!"

Dori ended the call and went back to the kitchen to see Shouko already setting up the table. She looked up at him and smiled.

"What are you waiting for? Come on, take a seat." She told him.

Dori chuckled and sat on the seat closest to hers. Shouko filled up his plate before filling up her own and when she was about to eat, she realized that Dori was still staring at her.

"What, you want me to feed you too?" Shouko smiled and asked in a joking manner.

Dori chuckled, leaning forward and nodded his head to her plate. Shouko's smile faded and she was suddenly nervous.

"Y-You seriously want me to feed you?" She asked with a nervous chuckle.

"Ah, it hurts..." Dori hissed, pretending his cheek hurt.

Shouko knew he was just messing around, of course. But she thought it would be fun to go along with him so she sighed and fed him like he wanted her to do.

"You're such a child." She told him.

"Ah, by the way, I have to record a song today. You already skipped school for me, want to come with?" Dori asked, remembering the phone call he had earlier.

"Really? I can come with you?" She asked in surprise.

"Of course. I want you to hear me sing." Dori smiled, giving her butterflies in her stomach.

Even with a couple of bruises on his face, he still looked as angelic as ever. It's hard to believe that the guy in front of him played a character like Niragi.

The two continued eating, exchanging a few words here and there. After eating, Shouko washed the dishes while Dori cleaned the table.

"Ah, I should go back to my place to get a change of clothes." Dori spoke up, realizing he didn't have any clothes to change into.

"Alright. I'll take a shower and by the time you get here, I'll be ready." Shouko replied.

Dori nodded and went to his car. He waved at her before driving off to his place.

Shouko checked up on Little Niragi, seeing him still sleeping soundly. She sighed and just made sure to leave enough food and water for him before going inside the bathroom.

Once the water hit her skin, her mind drifted off to Nijiro. She wanted to know what happened to him after he left, she wanted to know if he was mad at her still.

Well, he's obviously mad or he wouldn't have blocked my number.

Shouko wondered if that was the end for them, if she really won't get to see or talk to him ever again. Closing her eyes, she sighed. She didn't want to be pessimistic.

After taking a shower, she wrapped herself in a towel and got back to her room. Shouko made sure to lock her door to avoid anyone from getting inside. She already learned her lesson on that.

Shouko dried herself and put on some clothes. She liked to think that she was fashionable. Her clothes were always classy and elegant.

As she brushed her hair, she stared into the mirror as she did so and wondered if she needed make up. In the end, Shouko just put on a bit of lipstick. It was just enough to cover up her paleness.

Before she went out of her room, she took one last look at her kitten. Little Niragi was half awake and the little guy seems like he was wondering where she was off to.

"I'll be back later, okay? Don't miss me too much!" Shouko giggled at her own words while the kitten just meowed before sleeping again.

"Shouko? Are you ready?" Dori called out from downstairs.

"Did I forget to lock the door again?" Shouko asked in embarrassment and Dori nodded.

"It really is a bit unsafe for you to live alone. Why don't you come live with me for a while?"

Shouko looked up at him in shock. She couldn't believe that he would suggest something like that. He didn't seem to be that kind of guy.

"I'm okay here." She chuckled nervously. "If I live with you, it would most definitely ruin your image."

Dori nodded in realization. Sometimes, he actually forgot how they weren't even the same age. He was just so comfortable with her now that little details like that didn't bother him.

The two finally got to his car and as Dori was driving he caught a glimpse of Nijiro's car on the side mirror. He didn't know if Nijiro saw them get in his car or if he just arrived.

But one thing he knew for sure was that Shouko should never know about it. It was a good idea to bring her along. If he hadn't, who knows what would happen then?
