Shouko gently placed both of her hands against Dori's chest to push him back a little. She didn't think it was the right thing to do, letting him kiss her just to prove a point.

"I'm sorry, I'm tired. Drive safely." She said before turning around and walking inside.

Dori watched her as she locked the gates and walked to her door. She didn't even turn around and just got inside without another word.

It was wrong of him to make that move and he knew it. But he was just frustrated that he got deceived. Still, he shouldn't have done that and he made a mental note to apologize to her when she cools down.

Shouko sighed as she soaked herself in the tub. She wasn't all that thrilled to finally get a kiss from the only guy she has ever had her eyes on. Liking it would be unfair to Nijiro even though it shouldn't be.

It wasn't her problem if he liked her or not but she let him kiss her so it was like accepting his feelings for her and she couldn't deny that she was starting to feel something for him too.

It was strange, she had finally gotten Dori's attention but it didn't make her feel as giddy as she expected. He was literally too perfect for someone like her and yet she feels like he wasn't enough.

Dori had the looks, the fame, the personality, everything. But she didn't want all that. She wanted more. It was cheesy but Shouko wanted someone who genuinely liked her and she could feel that he didn't like her in that way.

That night, she could barely sleep. She tossed and turned on her bed and when the sun finally came up, she sighed and got up to shower.

Shouko contemplated on whether or not to tell Nijiro about what happened between her and Her Dori. It wasn't like they had a relationship or anything, she just felt uncomfortable keeping it a secret from him.

But she finally decided not to tell him. What he doesn't know won't hurt him. She was sure Dori wouldn't tell anyone about it so she just had to keep her mouth shut.

If Nijiro asked, which he won't, she would tell him. It wouldn't be lying to him if she just chose not to mention it.

The doorbell rang and when she opened the door, she was surprised to see Nijiro. He looked like he didn't get much sleep either and she wondered why.

After getting him inside, the both of them silently walked to the kitchen. Shouko was about to make some tea when she felt his arms wrapped around her from behind.

"I wish you hadn't met them..." Nijiro whispered to her.

Shouko felt her throat tighten. She was sure of what he meant, whom he meant. But she didn't regret meeting Kento or Dori, not at all.

The only thing she regrets was that one time she tried to get his attention by mentioning him in her story. But she couldn't tell him that, of course.

"I'll go make us some tea." She muttered before slowly taking his arms off of her.

Shouko still felt weird about how affectionate he was towards her. She didn't know them that well and it was the same for him. But there they were. They had already gotten too intimate even without a relationship. Not that she wanted a relationship with him. She was fine just being friends with him.

But that kiss lingered in the back of her mind and no matter how much she tried, she couldn't get it out. To her, Nijiro was just another boy. She didn't feel too intimidated by him like how she felt whenever she's with Dori.
