It was early in the morning on April twentieth when Bakugou's phone went off while it was next to his alarm clock. He opened his tired eyes, rubbing the grogginess from them, and lazily grabbed his phone to answer it.

His mother's face popped up on screen.
"Ugh, what do ya want, Hag?" Katsuki frowned, sitting up

His mother frowned back seeing her nearly grown son looking all rumbled.
"Since it's your birthday, I'll let that slide you Brat." She narrowed her eyes as a silent warning

Honestly, she couldn't be mad not just because it's his birthday, but also because when he was like this, it reminded her of when he was actually a brat.

"Why tha hell're ya callin' me so early?" Katsuki irritatedly asked, yawing

His father came into frame.
"Katsuki now, don't be rude to your mother. We just wanted to tell you happy birthday and that we put fifty thousand yen in your bank account." Masaru gave a warm smile

"Oh... thanks." Katsuki's expression softened

Mitsuki smiled next to her husband.
"No problem, Twerp. We hope you have a good day and make sure everyone gives you birthday gifts!" She told him

Katsuki just rolled his eyes.
"Yeah, whatever."

"Bye son. Don't be late for class." Masaru said as they waved with matching smiles

"Never am." Katsuki smirked as he hung up and put his phone back on the charger

The blonde stood up and stretched his arms above his head making his tank lift up a bit. Then, he walked to his closet getting out his school uniform and laid it in his bed so he could get ready for the day. He was turning eighteen today and it was almost hard to believe. Time flies when you spend nearly a whole year in the middle of a war then have to help rebuild society after it's won.

Midoriya was excited when he woke up this morning. Today was Bakugou's birthday and he got him a present since he couldn't last year or many years before that. Deciding on what to get was pretty hard but then got something easy but he knew the other would love it. It was an assortment of the hottest hot sauces he could find. Midoriya could have gotten Bakugou something All Might themed, knowing the blonde loves All Might just as much as he does, but he thought Bakugou would get him All Might stuff and he wanted his present to be different.

"Good Morning, Kacchan!" Midoriya said as full of enthusiasm as usual while he stood near Bakugou's desk

In his hands was a wrapped present that was shaking with his excitement.

"Mornin', Nerd." Bakugou said, not looking at the other

"I got you something." Midoriya sat the neatly wrapped present on Bakugou's desk

The taller looked at the box wrapped in black paper with explosions on it.
"Hah, why?" He asked, finally looking up at Midoriya
