"Alright so I managed to get some books from the Library that will help us in our power predicament" Amy said. "How'd you manage that Ames?" Sonic asked. "Disguises are both fashionable and useful" she answered. "It's still under your name huh" Sonic said. "I simply said that I'm getting some books for Amy which is me but the beaver doesn't know that" she answered and they look through the books she placed on the table while explaining how she got them. "This is going to take a while" Shadow mumbled. "Not to mention boring" Sonic added as he laid back on his chair. "Legend.. Chosen Ones.. does this mean that we are chosen by someone to defend the Universe from a potential evil or something?" Knuckles asked and everyone looked at him shocked and confused. "How'd you figure that out echidna?" Shadow asked genuinely curious. He shrugged, "I don't know" and had a bite of baloney sandwich. "I guess that's plausible but let's keep looking just in case" Tails said and the others nods in response.

Shadows POV:
"Guys? I think Knuckles is right. For once.." Sticks said mumbling the last part. "Hey it's the same elements" Amy said noticing the elements. "Hmph. Well this is useful" I said and turn the page revealing... us!? "What the-?" I asked and Sonic snatches the book. "Looking great" he compliments his costume with the fire in his hand. Me and the others look at him, me thinking on how he became thier leader. "Give that back" Tails said and takes the book back, giving it to Amy. "Oh ancient text" she said and starts reading. "Looks like we need to prepare for danger" she said and we nod though I have no clue why I'm nodding. "It says here that the end comes... Sooner than we think" she said. "Like tomorrow or something?" Sonic asked. "No the book will end sooner if that happens. The sooner than we think isn't relative to us specifically, more like our foe" she explained.

I start to get lost in thought. Our foe has a time limit? For what!? To destroy us since we have this power!? None of this makes any sense. None of it! The end will come sooner than we think. How did I get roped into this in the first place? I should be in my Cave having me time on the wall. Not adventuring out to this.. thing that's threatening the Universe. Sure I'm the Ultimate Lifeform and can handle this on my own but no I can't. Want to know why? It's because I'm forced to use this power under a different identity than my own. Why does everything in my life have to be so complicated? So many questions and very little answers yet to be solved. If this 'evil' is after all of us then we have to make sure it isn't this Village that they destroy. Sure the Villagers are idiots that only care about their heroes when they save the day but they're still animal beings and needs to be safe. Even when I want to kill them most of the time.

If we have a time limit then we already wasted several days until we got our upgrade not too long ago. "So we'll need to be careful and train with these powers" I said and they nod. "I'll build something that can help with that. Shadow and Sticks? You two keep watch for danger at the Village while Sonic and Amy do the same at Goga Va Village. Knuckles should keep watch for trouble at the sky so he'll need to be at the tallest hill" Tails explained. "I'll be sending a satellite to the atmosphere. That way we'll know if there's any danger coming from out there" Tails explained and runs off. Me and the others shrugged and we went to do our parts. I take Sticks's hand and teleported us outside my Cave and I went in taking a new outfit. White and red gloves, black biker jacket, and a different color scheme set of rocket boots. I put it on and teleported us to her burrow. "Get a set of clothes that no one will recognize you in" I instructed her and she glares at me. "Of course if you want to get immediately recognized" I tried to persuade. She seemed surprised and ran in, I stood outside waiting for her. While waiting I start to get a visual of that day. Along with some that I'm unfamiliar with at this time, I figured that I'll know what it is at the right moment. "Done" I heard and looked next to me to see the badger standing there with... I don't even know what it is. I can't really describe it either. "What is that?" I found myself asking. "Oh. Why would you want to know?" She asked. "One it smells. Second that's not a really good disguise where we're going. Last why?" I listed. "Well I'm not changing anything" she said and I hesitate but take her hand and we teleported to outside the Village. "Ready?" I whisper to her. "Ready" she responded. We walked in and are noticed by everyone. It's most likely the smell they're noticing.

Why and how am I paired up with the badger? We walked around and found our way to the Village Center. "Follow my lead" Sticks said and seeing as how I don't really have a choice, I obligated. "Hi Mayor" she waved. I face palmed internally, idiots. "Hi do I know you?" He asked. "We're just new and assumed you are the Mayor of this Village?" I asked trying to not blow our cover. "Yes I am. Mayor Fink as you can call me" he said and we shook hands. How does he not recognize our voices!? I came to this Village three times during the series about and Sticks is here almost all the time. Wow dumb and blind these Villagers are. "What are your names?" He asked and me and Sticks got a little nervous. "I'm Bell and this is my brother Saffron. I was adopted" Sticks said and I really want to kick something right now. Better yet electrocute a rock with full force if that'll do anything that is. "Alright then, enjoy our Village and build your own House" he said and I sighed in relief. I was holding my breath!? "That was close" Sticks whispered. "Yeah" I responded and now wondering how the others are doing.

Amy POV:
Me and Sonic are now in Goga Va Village and they obviously don't know about the 'new' heroes so we can keep our identity. "What brings you here?" One asked. "Protection from a possible Space Rock" Sonic answered. "Meteor Sonic" I said after I elbow him. "Oh we'll be fine. It'll be a pretty light show if it lands on our little Village" he said and me and Sonic became speechless. I sighed, "alright you protect the left and I'll protect the right". "Got it. See you in a bit Ames" Sonic said and ran somewhere in that area of the Village. I sighed and went to the side that I'm protecting. I hummed a nice tune and found myself going in circles on my side. Well as long as Gogo Va Village is safe we're all good.

Tails POV:
I am mending some metal together and starting the next step. I wonder what powers this evil has and if we have the strength and power to defeat them. No time to wonder about that I need to finish this.
