Red Storm

"Great! Last one" Ace said and everyone turns to Shadow. He smiles. Shadow stands outside as there's a storm coming. Rain clouds slowly coming in with the sound of thunder a bit after a flash. Shadow gets on a jet ski in his color scheme even with his logo on the front, rides towards the storm clouds. He makes it and stands up looking up at the clouds. "Now what?" he questions. Shadow looks around and there's nothing going on. Curious he lightly touches the water and lightning starts coming down, Shadow having sensing it moved away the millisecond it started to strike. "That was close" he said in thought and went back to where that purple lightning stroke.

Shadows POV:
Call me crazy but I think I was supposed to get stricken by that lightning. You can see sparks hopping around the area the lightning stroke, meaning something was supposed to be here. Especially since it's hopping on water not solid ground. Woops, I made a mistake but natural instincts kicked in, can't help but to move out of the way. Another lightning strikes and I managed to resist the urge to dodge it. This time I got it, and was teleported to... the clouds? Well time to see what's in store. So I walked around and started to hear faint screaming. Was about to transform but I'm not included on the whole "we're sick and need someone to protect until we get better" thing, since I'm most known as the villain back in Hedgehog Village.

Meaning I can free rome and already skated towards the voice. As it was getting louder, next thing I know it.. grew softer. As if not wanting the help. The screams weren't asking for help, they were screams of fear so this must be my test. I skated quietly towards the next round of cries for help being careful not to make any sounds. I saw a little kid not older than Crazy Badger struggling to stay on a cliff that's about to collapse at any second. They saw me and backed away, causing the edge to start crumbling. "Hey kid" I yelled out. They looked at me and I saw that they're crying. "I'll get you out of there" I called out. They shook their head no and I was confused. Does this kid not want my help here? I sighed and thought what would Blue Faker do. Probably jump into action without thinking the problem at hand so that's not going to work. Fox Boy would just fly up there no problem. Rose can use her hammer to boost herself up there. Red Echidna can jump and climb. Crazy Badger will look for a.. that's it! I commenced the plan. Checked around the area and there seems to be something parkour-like, and dark clouds seem to work but there's a gap that my rocket boots will be required for the leap. I took a deep breath and ran through the course until I have to make that leap to save the kid. Landed and hang onto them as I climbed down the same way just a little more careful than my way there.

Third POV:
Shadow places the kid down and they smiled. "Thank you, Red Storm" she thanked and he was surprised. Did he accidentally revealed them somehow? "You showed heroism when you saw danger. You deserve your power-up" the kid said. "Wait" Shadow reached out his hand but was too late as he came back to a Stormy day on Bygone Island. Dark clouds, strong wind, and rain like never before. "What the-?" Shadow questions and was grabbed by Sonic who pulled him into Tails's Workshop. "Good thing I found you. Got your power-up?" Sonic asked when they got inside. "Yes" Shadow answers and Amy walks in with towels for the two.

"That was the final test! Now to find and defeat Opial" Ace said and Team Sonic plus Shadow nods in agreement. "So this is your little hideout" a dark figure said nearby and smirks. He then evily chuckles.
