Finale Part 3

Previously.. The heroes and villains teamed up to save the day! After a freak accident it was clear that they weren't ready but now it's too late. Opial has set up the time and date letting our heroes know with his falcon. Can they save the day? Stay tuned.

"What the h*ll was that!?" Red Storm yelled. "Language" Princess Crystal scolded. "Well, it seems like we have to make sure our training was worth it" Blue Flame said in confidence. "Yeah.." the rest of Team Sonic that hasn't said anything yet said in a 'yeah no' tone. "Come on you all trained hard for this. You gonna give up now?" Eggman asked knowing that tone all too well. Mainly because he usually uses it when he has to follow someone else's orders time to time. "It's just.. look we always defeat them" Orange Wind pointed at the villains. The villains and Blue Flame nods. "This is bigger than we ever done before, we lost when we first encountered him. Sorry just not risking it" he said and Blue Flame looks at his best friend with disappointment. "We all had our wins and losses, good days and bad days.. but you want to know why we still fight?" Blue Flame asked. Water Badger raises her hand getting to know what their leader is saying. He points at her once noticing. "It's because we are a team and we'll fight to the end no matter how far it gets us. Just as long as we don't quit we can accomplish anything!" She answered and Blue nods surprised that she actually got the meaning before Orange Wind or Princess Crystal. "What's our move?" Red Storm asked and everyone gathered together. "Let's lead him onto the Beach for our final fight" Blue Flame said and they all gathered everything, going to the Beach. "How do we lead him here?" Eggman asked. "Simple. We lead a trail of our powers. Once we did that then you villains can ambush him, if he defeats you then we'll show up in your place. Charlie and Beta? You'll cover for Red Daisy. Nominatus? You're covering Water Badger. Morpho? You're covering Orange Wind. Barker? You're covering Red Storm. Dave? You're covering Princess Crystal. Eggman? You're covering me. Once we're revealed that's when we take it from there" Blue Flame explained the plan. "Any concerns and/or questions?" He then asked and everyone shook their head. "Well then let's end this 22-part battle" Blue places his hand forward and everyone else placed theirs on top. "Let's end this" they said and move their hands down a bit then all the way up, ready to end this.

Ace's POV:
This is it. This is when they finish it off. To think that last Sunday night they were looking at Shooting Stars, being granted by this power for the first time. I could only imagine how that went. Knowing Sonic he probably set his house on fire by accident or something similar. This time Opial we are going to save you, no matter how much shadows you throw at us and maybe.. hopefully you'll forgive me for my actions years ago. I didn't even realize that I was crying until I rubbed my eyes, feeling them wet. 'I pull out a photo album containing so-called friends I used to have in School, they were a bad influence on me back then, and now'. I grabbed a needle. 'I will finish the mistake that we placed on that trembling child'. I get a flashback on getting the chance to help a little wolf not any older than I was back then but turned away after believing some terrible rumors. After deciding what to do for like 30 minutes I changed into a black and yellow jumpsuit, grabbed a grey and yellow helmet, got on a motorcycle that has bumblebee themed colors, and ride towards the Beach. Hoping that I get there in time to fix that mistake.

Third POV:
The plan was efficient. That until Opial released a shadow creature that looks like a trembling wolf. The team doesn't let their guard down but were wrong to do so as it lunges Orange Wind. The power had no effect. "What the heck?" He questions in confusion and Opial laughs. "Shouldn't a looked so threatening heroes!" He yelled and gave off an evil laugh. The team growls and dodges the creatures. "Our powers has no effect!" Princess Crystal yelled. "Then let's use our weapons" Blue Flame said and turns on his shield, spin dashing a creature destroying it. The others get the point and pulls out their weapons too. Princess Crystal pulls out her hammer, smashing it into a creature destroying it. The others did the same with their arm cannon, trident, lasso, and thunder gun. "It's working!" Water Badger yelled. "Good thing those powers come from nature" Eggman said as the villains are using a gun that they're filling with mud. They shoot the mud at a clutter of the creatures, destroying them. Blue Flame uses a Sonic Wind attack and destroyed three more. Princess Crystal jump flipped backwards and smashes another four with her hammer. Orange Wind shoots gashes of wind, blowing eight into a fire range of the villains weapon. Water Badger uses her trident then summons a tidal wave amount of water at six more creatures. Red Daisy throws his lasso and ties four together, pulling on it and with his strength destroys them on site. Red Storm ties four more, destroying them at a faster rate than Red Daisy did. They continued fighting but Opial isn't going to give up. Not so easily.

"My army.. grow stronger than ever before" he said and they glowed, growing bigger and stronger. Some even duplicating. "Does this guy have any limits!?" Blue Flame questioned. "Less talking, more fighting" Eggman said starting to struggle. "Boss? We're all out of robots aside from me and Cubot to fight with" Orbot reported. "Then fight!" Eggman yelled and threw the two into the Battlefield both getting dismantled within seconds. "That was fun" Cubot commented in a British accent. Orbot looked at him once noticing his friends accent. Charlies mech gets torn into pieces causing him and Beta to flee. Nominatus and his two henchmen starts glitching and quickly went into Charlies phone. The Lightning Society runs out of ammo and gets surrounded. Our heroes are down for the count. "Hahahahaha!! Now, give me the powers that I rightfully deserve" Opial said as he leans in closer to our heroes. "Not so fast Andrew" a voice says and Ace, not taking off his helmet arrives. "Wh-who are you?" Opial questions. "Just someone who has regrets" Ace answers and walks up to the unstable wolf. "W-well, d-don't mess with m-me" Opial stutters, not knowing why he's scared. "I should've helped you when those rumors spread.. I'm sorry" Ace apologizes. "Wait. You're the one from the School" Opial snarls. "The one watching in the sidelines? Yes that's me. I.. hope you'll forgive me" he holds his hand out but Opial slaps it away and spins Ace, putting his hand behind his back. "An apology isn't going to do anything" he said and Ace smiles in regret. "In that case" the blue blurs friend said and flips over. Then pinning Opial to the ground. Blue Flame, friends, and Red Storm runs up and gets into their positions. "Now!" Ace yelled and everyone fires at the two at once. "Ace" Blue Flame whispers with a tear falling down his cheek.

The Next Morning

Team Sonic, Shadow, and co. decided to hold a ceremony for Ace's last minute rescue. "This is to one of my best-est friends. He meant a lot to all of us here and yesterday proved to be a true hero, jumping into action and saving us all" Sonic said and everyone raised glasses of soda. Cherry Soda to be exact! The rest of the ceremony was sad and was seen by the spirits of Ace and Opial/Alex. "You.. did that for me..?" Alex questioned. "It was the last thing I could think of to save you" Ace said and the two smiled. "Friends?" Ace holds out his hand. "It may take me some time but.. sure" Alex responded and the two shake hands.
