Draco felt that things with Sky had been off for the past few weeks and he didn't understand why. He kept questioning himself if he did something wrong and not remember what it was.

Her smile wasn't her normal true smile. This was a different smile that he couldn't read. He knew she was using occlumency to block him out so he couldn't search her mind. He didn't know if it was just him that noticed or if everyone else did too, but he had to find out what was wrong and Pansy wasn't the one to ask right now.

"Hey, has Pansy said anything about why Sky is acting different?" Draco asked Mattheo who was barely paying attention to Trelawney's crazy nonsense

Mattheo glanced over at him, "All I know is Sky's worried about her mum with everything with Cassius still being out there."

"That makes sense. It's just weird she hasn't said anything to me about it."

"Dude, Pansy had to pry it out of her. She just wants her dad to be gone already so her mum can be safe."

The relief that fled over Mattheo seeing that Draco believed him. Although Draco believed him and he felt relief, there was a slight bit of guilt knowing he was lying about everything. He knew he couldn't tell Draco what was really going on.

As the day went on Mattheo paid close attention to how Sky was acting towards Draco. It was quite painful to watch the awkward interactions; it was nothing like before and he had a feeling she was going to end up screwing up the mission.

After dinner and everyone was in the common room working on homework Snape stormed in, "Miss Parkinson, Mr. Gaunt, I must speak to you both immediately."

Pansy started to stand up but before she was fully off the couch Snape spoke up, "Not you Pansy. Your sister Skyra."

Pansy sat back down and Sky's head shot up confused on what she could have possibly done. This was Snape's angry tone, so she knew it wasn't good. Draco and everyone else's eyes were wide as they were also confused. No one said anything due to the possibility of detention with a vexed Snape.

Sky stood up, "Dray, will you take my books and parchment up to our dorm when you're done down here?"

"Yeah, be safe and don't say anything dumb please," Draco replied in a quiet tone

Mattheo and Sky followed Snape to his classroom where he silenced the room. His eyes shot to Sky, "Why are you acting awkward?"

"What are you talking about? I'm just doing my normal routine."

Mattheo sighed heavily, turning to her, "you've been more than awkward. You haven't been yourself since the mission got brought up. I had to lie to Malfoy to cover your ass because he's worried about you! He's not the only one.

I had to alter your sister's memories to fake a whole ass conversation between you and her on why you've been out of it. You have just two weeks until this mission starts. Do you want to die and Malfoy wonders why you've been distant and acting weird the whole time?"

"I'm scared, what the hell do you expect?! I'm trying to do my best but I'm worried if I actually die! You've met my father, you've witnessed firsthand what he's capable of. I want to be able to come back to Draco, my sister, all my family and friends."

Snape walked away for a moment then returned with a small bottle, placing it in her hand, "take this when you start to worry. It'll help, but you have to be normal Skyra. Myself and Lucius will check in on you often and you have this whole plan that you and I have gone over. You won't die. In case you do, we have that in short too."

"Wait, you've planned for if you die?" Mattheo let out a yell

She tilted her head down unsure how to answer him.
