"Pans, I don't know, something about this morning between Draco and Blaise just seemed strange," Sky told her sister as they walked down the corridor

Pansy laid her hand on Sky's shoulder, "I'm sure it's nothing. You know those two have always been a bit odd with one another. Don't question things."

"Yeah, you're probably right. Just the nod Blaise did was off but then again Snape did throw me off this morning. Anyway, I have to go to the library, I'll catch up with you later sis."

"Our little nerd, have fun," Pansy laughed while she practically began sprinting off to the common room.

By the time Pansy got to the common room she was almost out of breath sitting down on the couch, "Malfoy, what the hell are you and Blaise planning? Y'all have her overthinking shit."

Blaise laughed, "all you dude. Have fun with this conversation"

"Follow me," Draco announced to Pansy leading the way to the dorm room

For Draco it was odd that Pansy was in his dorm room without Sky. Made him nervous incase Sky did show up and start questioning his loyalty to her, but if anyone had the right to know what was going on, it was her sister. Hell even his sister has the right to know as Sky's best friend but that wasn't his main concern right now.

Draco opened up his wardrobe and unveiled a small black velvet box. Pansy's eyes widened in disbelief. Was that what she thought it was or was she dreaming?

Pansy pinched Draco's arm, "ouch! What the hell was that for?"

"Just making sure I'm not dreaming right now. What the hell do you plan on doing with that?" She asked him. The way the word that rolled off her tongue like she couldn't believe what he was holding.

"First of all, you're not dreaming. Second, I plan on giving this to your sister as my way of promising that once we get out of this pathetic excuse of a school, that I intend on spending my life with her. Is that a problem?" He shot back at Pansy

She stuck her finger in her ear making sure she heard him right. There was no way in hell that Draco was planning this– alone. He wasn't capable of something like this. Or was he capable of it? Is he serious about wanting to be with her sister forever or is this a joke?

It can't be a joke; he has a Malfoy heirloom ring in his hand, in his wardrobe; hidden from her sister.

Every thought about this was making Pansy dizzy. How could this be possible? How much did she really miss when she was missing? How long has he had this thought?

Pansy sat down on the edge of the bed, "You're being serious right now, aren't you? You want to propose to my sister? At this dump? No, that's not happening. Our mothers would have your head on a platter to Voldemort before they let that happen."

Draco sighed heavily. The thought of how his girlfriend was related to someone like Pansy. The scholar gene definitely skipped her and went all to Sky. "I would never propose to her here. I have had it planned for quite some time. However, your father ruined the first attempt by showing up when we were in Alaska.

'I had everything planned out perfectly, but when he did that I had to reevaluate everything and have a better way of doing it. Something that will be more romantic."

"More romantic than Alaska? Doubtful. And when do you plan on doing this?"

"Well, we are going home next weekend for some dinner our mothers have planned and since I know that we will both be dressed elegantly I was thinking of doing it there."

Pansy looked mortified, "Draco, she will hate if you do it in front of everyone. You know she hates when everyone looks at her and the spotlight is on her."
