I was finishing up making some lunch for Drista when Clay walked in.
"Hey, you ready to go?" He asked
"Yes, let me grab my bag." I left Dristas food on the counter covered in Saran Wrap for when she got hungry while we were gone.
I grabbed my bag and my phone.
Clay was at the front door and opened it for me.
We both walked out and I started walking to the direction of the bus station when Clay stoped me.
"Hey! We're taking my car" he said
"Oh!" I replied, I was so used to having to use the bus that forgot that he had a car.
I walked up to the car and saw Clay walk over and opened the door for me.
"Oh..thank you." I said
Clay just smiled and walked over to the drivers side and got in.
"Okay, we can go to the supermarket and then stop by some place to eat if you want." He said looking over to me while turning on the car.
"Sure!" I said

We got to the store in about 10 min.
This would've taken like 20 min on a bus...I should save up for a car...
We grabbed a cart and started walking down the aisles putting in different foods. I chose some fruits and vegetables, grabbed some meat, some seasoning, butter, milk, bread etc. You know, the basic grocery stuff.
After a while, I ended up getting all the things I needed.
"Okay, i think that's everything I need! What did you want to get?" I said looking at Clay who was driving the cart.
"What? You only got groceries? Aren't you going to get anything for yourself?" He asked confused
"For myself?" I said, thinking for a moment. "Well...I don't really need anything." I said
"Come on! Theres gotta be something you want to buy for yourself!" He said and started thinking.
"How about some clothes? Is there some type of jacket or dress or something like that, that you'd like?" He asked
"Um..." I said thinking "no.. not really." I said
"Nope. We are getting you something. Come on." He said sternly and started walking away while driving the cart. I reluctantly followed.
"If you see something you like, grab it." He said
We walked around for a bit. We ended up walking into the arts and craft section.
Oh my God. This sketchbook is so nice!! The paper is perfect for water coloring! Ooo these pencils...I need a 3B because I lost the one I had!! ARE THESE COPIC MARKERS?!
I started looking at all the art materials in pure awe. In the end, I did decide to grab the sketch pencils.
"That's it? You just grabbed pencils? What about the sketchbook and the markers you were looking at?" Clay said
"eXcuSe yOu!? They are not JUST pencils, it's the Faber-Castell 9000 Graphite Sketch Pencil Art Set" I said half jokingly.
"HAHAHAHAHAA" Clay wheezed
"These sketch pencils are very nice! They're pretty expensive too for just a piece of graphite but they're nice!" I said smiling
"Okay okay, fine." Clay said trying to catch his breath.
