22) Time for Plan B

8:10 (Wednesday)

I was at the Fulldrives house again since I didn't have class or work at the mall. I took the opportunity to work overtime and get some extra money.

Zack told me he was going to go to his apartment for 5 days because he had to babysit his cousins cat. He would've taken it to my apartment but my apartment doesn't allow pets.

I quickly got bored without him there so I decided to come here.

I had to be quiet because Clay was sleeping on the couch since George was sleeping in his room.

He looked so peaceful. His face looked so soft and calm. His hair was a bit messy and he was wearing a white t shirt with gray sweatpants.

While I was making breakfast I started to think about ways to help Emma.

What should I say to him. I just need to convince him to talk to her but how?

I was flipping the pancakes trying to think of something when I heard shuffling behind me. I turned to see Clay rubbing his eyes and shuffling his way to the kitchen.

"Good morning" he yawned

"Good morning!" I said making his plate and setting it on the table.

He sat down and started to eat.

"Hey, George and I were planning on going to the mall today to buy some stuff for my pc. Do you want to come with?" He asked me

I took a minute to think. Just then, an idea popped into my head.

I turned around to look at Clay and smiled,

"Sure!" I said

After everyone else came down to eat breakfast I went to the bathroom to text Emma.

Hey, Clay George and I are going to the mall today.
You'll have a chance to talk to Clay there

I part of me felt guilty for doing this...messing with clays love life when it has nothing to do with me. But I was far too into it to go back now. I had to deal with whatever consequences this may give.

Clay, George and I were walking around at the mall.

I texted Emma that we were near the food court. I looked around for her trying to make sure she saw us.

"Hey, You okay? Are you looking for something?" George asked

He had noticed that I kept turning around and looking all over the place.

"Huh? No, i just always get really amazed with malls. They're so big and there's so many cool things here!" I said trying my best to make it sound believable

He just nodded and kept on walking looking for some store that Clay wanted to go to.

I spotted Emma to my left on the second floor of the mall. She was looking over the barrier and soon enough spotted me too.
