14) ANDALE GRINGO!

17:10 (Sunday)

We were on our way to the fair, riding in Clays car. I told him about Drista and how she was doing. I told him how excited she was that I was able to help her with her homework. It made me really happy to see her so happy. I also told him about how I met his father and his other 2 siblings since they came back from their trip a while ago. I told him how I played with them everyday and how excited they looked whenever I came to work.

"Im glad you're getting along with them, what about you?" He asked

"What do you mean?" I looked over at him confused.

"You talked about how they were doing. What about you? How are you doing?" He asked quickly glancing over at me and then back at the road.

" oh.. well.. I'm doing okay I guess" I said hesitantly.

The truth is, I'm still a bit behind my rent. I have to get the money in by next week or I'll be evicted. Not to mention that I've been spending so much time working that I have completely blown off my studies. I got my first F a week ago when spring break ended. But somehow, that didn't matter to me right now. I was just glad to see him again.

"I'm doing a lot better now that your back. It was weird not seeing you around. I missed you!" I said giving a slight chuckle.

He didn't say anything so I looked over at him. I saw his face give a slight blush and immediately realized what I had just said and started blushing too.

I changed the subject and started talking about his favorite type if music. After 5 minutes we ended up arriving at the fair.

"WOAH!" I yelled looking out the car window while Clay was finding a parking spot.

"LOOK AT ALL THE PRETTY LIGHTS!" I Yelled again while pointing at the colorful lights that bordered the rides and shops.

"IT SMELLS SO GOOD TOO!!" I exclaimed.

Clay's POV

I parked the car and looked over at Y/n who was practically about to jump out of the car.

Shes like a little kid... her eyes are practically glowing...

I couldn't help but stare at her for a while before she turned to look at me.

"CMON LETS GO!" She said while getting out if the car.

I laughed and got out of the car.

"Cmon cmon you're so slow!!" She said while playfully tugging my arm.

"What are you 5?" I laughed

"You're the one who said I had no childhood. I'm making up for it." She said and stuck her tongue out.

"Pffft" I laughed

We walked over to the entrance, bought some tickets and got in.

Y/n was immediately overwhelmed with the rides, shops and food. She looked like a wandering little puppy who had the urge to explore the world.

"Oooo! Let's go on that one!" She said while pointing at a ride that seemed to just go around in circles. It pretty much just makes you dizzy.

"You want to go on that one first?" I asked

"Yeah! I know you don't like the big rollercoasters so let's go on this one! Plus, we wouldn't throw up because we haven't eaten anything yet!" She said pulling me towards the line.

"Okay okay! Let's go!" I said while running in front of her and pulling on her instead.

She really remembered that I don't like big rollercoasters... I've only mentioned it once and it was during the first week we met.
