Clay and I finished eating our food, and started to walk around looking at some shops.
"What drink is this? It's good!" Clay asked while we were walking towards a little shop with little souvenir type items.
"It's Horchata, It's like a sweet rice milk. It has rice, milk, vanilla and cinnamon. Mine is Jamaica. I think it's like a hibiscus iced tea drink." I say taking a sip of my drink.
"Ooo, can I try yours?" Clay asks taking another sip from his drink
"Y-yeah" I say and hold out the cup for him. He gets closer to the straw and takes a sip from my drink.
"Oh! It tastes good too! It tastes a bit like cranberry." He said smiling
We looked around the little shop for a bit until we heard a siren go off.
We turned and realized the siren was for a basketball game. There was a guy who had apparently just won a huge stuffed bear. He then gave the bear to a girl who was standing next to him. They kissed and started walking away.
That bear was reminds me of a bigger version of a teddy bear i used to have. I've had it since I was born but lost it after I moved out.
I then felt someone grab my hand and started pulling me away from the shop.
I looked to see Clay pulling me to the basketball game.
"H-hey! Whats wrong?" I asked him
We stopped at the basketball hoop game and Clay turned to me.
"I saw you staring at this game, so now I'm gonna win you a prize." He said while paying the worker for a try.
I started laughing, knowing he probably wouldn't make it. These games are always rigged in some way or another. To me this was just a waste.
Clay took the first shot and It bounced off the rim. He missed the second shot too.
As a waste of a time i thought it was, i still clapped and cheered him on.
"I can't tell if your actually cheering me on or making fun of me." Clay said chuckling
"I cant tell either." I replied giving a chuckle
Clay took the third shot and to my surprise, he actually made it in.
He shot again and again and made it in.
The timer rang and he ended up making 11 baskets in 1 minute.
The siren rang again.
"Congratulations, you have made at least 10 baskets! You can choose any prize!"
Clay looked at me, telling me to go choose a prize.
I glanced around at the prizes they had, until my eyes landed on one.
It was a small teddy bear that resembled a lot like the one I had. It was small and brown with tiny ears
