34) The way i want it to

Tuesday (6:50)

I woke up feeling better than ever.

I haven't had a good sleep like that in AGES...This couch does wonders..

I was slowly getting up from the couch when I felt a weight pulling me back down.

I looked over and saw Clay sleeping next to me, while keeping one arm around me.

W-what?! Why's he here?

My face turned a crimson red as I had realized that we had just slept together.

His arm pulled me back down but I was now facing him.

I felt my heart race at the fact that we were so close together. Our bodies pressing against eachother, his arms wrapped around me, and his face so close to mine... I didn't know what to make of it.

I looked at his face. The face that I've seen everyday. The face that brings me joy. The face that always finds a way to make me smile....it's the face that I want to kiss.

I... I think i love him.

I looked up at his ruffled dirty blonde hair and slowly brought my hand up to play with it.

It's like petting a cat~ It's so nice and soft~

I kept on playing with his hair for a couple more minutes until my hand got tired and I slowly started to lower it.

The sudden stop of the petting made Clay get uncomfortable and was starting to wake up.

He slowly opened his eyes, while I was kept there in his arms.

hes waking up!!

I didnt know what to do so i closed my eyes and pretended to still be asleep.

i aint dealing with this awkwardness... no sir

Clay's POV

I woke up and saw I was holding y/n in my arms.

CRAP I MUSTVE FALLEN ASLEEP ON THE COUCH WHILE I WAS WATCHING THE TV

I was panicking but I still stopped to admire her.

She looks so peaceful... although she looks a little bit red?

I suddenly started hearing footstep running down the stairs.

"CLAY CLAY CLAY IM LATE CAN YOU DRIVE ME TO SCH-" Drista's yelling was soon stopped as she saw y/n and I together on the couch.

I put my finger on my lips, signaling her to be quiet.

I look down at y/n and saw that she was still asleep.

How the heck did she sleep through that??

I slowly started to get up from the couch and made my way over to drista.

"You two seem pretty close~" Drista teased

"Shut it. I just fell asleep while watching tv." I said
