Clay's POV
"WHAT THE ACTUAL HELL!?" I yelled after having learned about all the disgusting things Andrew had done to y/n.
Forcing her to do things she never wanted to do.
Abusing her.
Taking advantage of her.
Everything about it was disgusting.
"Yeah... which is also why she was so hesitant to actually fall in love with you. She was afraid that this might be a redo of Andrew." Zack explained
"Even I was hesitant to let her continue her job as a housekeeper.. but she convinced me because she saw something different in you. Something better." He continued
I looked down at my hands for a moment.
I'll kill him. I swear I'll kill him. I'll find y/n and I'll get her out of this mess. Who knows what disgusting things he could've done to her already. Just thinking about it makes me angrier.
"There's also something else you should know..." Zack said
I looked up at him
"What?" I asked
"Well.. he's kind of a millionaire.. he owns a huge tech company and because of that he basically has every advantage possible. He has enough money to take y/n and himself out of the country. Which is something I'm sure he will do...And soon." He explained
"Not to mention that if we report him they'll most likely not believe us because of the reputation that he upholds..." he continued
"So our only option is to find y/n and somehow get video evidence or undeniable proof that Andrew is guilty." I finished his train of thought.
Zack nodded in agreement.
"So.. where do we find her? We've looked everywhere she could be." Zack asked
I sat there thinking for a moment.
Nothing came to mind.
"CLAYYYYYY" Drista yelled as she ran down the stairs
"Not now Drista.." I said
"No this is important!" She exclaimed
"I can't help you with your homework ok? Im busy." I said again
"ITS ABOUT Y/N!" Drista yelled
Both Zack and I turned our heads to look at her.
"What!?" We both exclaimed
"LOOK!" Drista said and ran over to the tv
She grabbed the remote and turned it on.
"It's apparent that the CEO of WorldTech, Andrew Cranston, will be marrying a woman who's name is unknown to the public at this time."
The news reporter announced as a picture of Andrew and y/n getting into a limo filled the screen.
Y/n had black sunglasses and a black mask but I could tell it was her from her hair and frame.
I'd recognize her anywhere.
"SHES MARRYING THIS RICH GUY??" Drista yelled in disbelief. She also could recognize y/n since she was practically the one who spent the most time with her other than me.
I'll kill him.
"They have the wedding set for Friday at noon at the Hathaway church hall and have sent invitations to only the top CEOs of other companies-" the reporter said until I turned off the tv
"That's where we find her..." I said
"We crash the wedding."
Y/n's POV
I got into the limo and took of my mask and sunglasses once Andrew had gotten in and closed the door.
"Would you look at that. You're famous now." Andrew said
I didn't say anything and just looked out the window. They were darker because of the one way tint but I still would rather look outside than at Andrew.
"You know.. now that you're gonna be my wife soon.. you really should respect me more." He said while grabbing a wine bottle and opening it.
He poured two drinks.
He handed one to me but I didn't accept it.
"Do I have to remind you about the things I could do to the people you care about? To Clay perhaps? And Drista?" He said smugly
I quickly looked over at him with a look full of fear.
I slowly brought my hand to take the glass out of his hand.
"Good." He said
"After we get married we will head to Europe as I'm sure you already know." He said.
"So I'll give you a credit card and you can go out with my security to buy anything you might need before we go." He said
"Okay." I replied, knowing I didn't have any choice but to accept.
I've become so emotionless after having met him.
I can't find a reason to keep living other than doing this for my loved ones. And clay.
I miss you so much.
