33) Overworked

15:25 (Monday)

I was on the bus heading to the Fulldrives house.

Man...I'm really tired. I couldn't sleep last night because I was up studying.

Once I got to the house I saw Clay and George putting suitcases in his car.

"Oh hey y/n!" Clay said while closing the trunk of the car.

"Hey, what are you doing?" I asked looking at the car.

"George is going back home today." He said and motioned over to George who was walking through the front door.

"George is leaving already!??" I whined

"Y/n!!! Im gonna miss you!!" George said running over to me and hugging me.

"Im gonna miss you too!! Let's still keep in touch okay?!" I said while returning his hug.

Our hug lasted a couple more seconds until we both let go.

George and Clay grabbed the last of their things and got in the car to make their way to the airport.

I stood in front of the car and waved to them as they backed out. I saw the car slowly drive away until it was out of sight.

George's POV

"Well...it looks like you won." I said to Clay, clearly knowing what I was talking about.

He looked over to me in shock and then back to the road.

"I didn't win yet." He said blatantly

I looked at him confused.

"She isnt mine yet." Clay said while keeping his eyes on the road.

I didn't say anything and looked out the window at the wonderful Florida scenery.

I'm gonna miss her..

Y/n's POV

I finished up washing the dirty dishes when I felt my head start to hurt.

Man...I've got so many assignments left to do...

My head started to hurt the more I thought about it.

I brushed the feeling off and went back to work.

After some more cleaning, the headache wouldn't go away. I felt my face get warmer but I just kept shrugging it off.

Ill just take some meds... I'll be fine

Clay's POV

I was on my way back home after I had said my goodbyes to George.

How...how do I ask Y/n on a date..?

I got into the driveway and parked the car. I stayed in the car for a while longer trying to figure out how to ask y/n on that picnic date...

What if...I write her some sort of romantic letter.?? No... I'd have to leave it somewhere for her to see, but what if someone sees it... Drista would sure have a laugh at it..

Plus...I kinda want to ask her myself... I want to see her reaction so that I know whether she feels the same way or not...
