9:43 (Friday)

Clay's POV

I woke up with the smell of bacon.

Mmm, Y/n must be here again... I don't think I'll ever get tired of this.

I realized that I was still on the couch from the movie last night. There was a blanket around me and a pillow propped so that I didn't strain my neck.

Hehe, that was thoughtful. Getting that neck strain is hella annoying

I got up and went upstairs. I saw Y/n cooking like every morning. Making the best food I've ever had.

I suddenly remembered last night. I remembered her holding on to me and leaning up against me. The cute expressions she made whenever something exciting happened or sad happened in the movie.

I decided to give her a welcoming hug from behind while she was washing her hands.

"AHHH!" She shrieked

"Goodmorning~" I said in a sing song voice

"Goodness... Good morning to you too." She said chuckling

"Thanks for the blanket and pillow." I said while letting go of her

"Huh? Oh, yeah.. no problem!" She replied, noticing a slight blush on her face.

"Here's your breakfast!" She said while handing me my plate of bacon, hashbrowns and scrambled eggs.

"Looks good! Thanks!" I said while sitting down and started to eat

Y/n's POV

Clay left after eating to go work.

Was that real? He actually hugged me?!

I made lunch for clay and started to clean around the house; I was blushing the entire time.

He usually just comes down at around noon but it's been an hour already.

Mrs. Fulldrive did mention that sometimes Clay gets a bit too preoccupied with his work that he forgets to take time for himself, like eat or go outside.

After waiting a couple more minutes for him to come down, I decided to just take the food up for him. It was just a simple sandwich (like a subway sandwich), so it didn't get cold or anything.

I walked up the stairs and stood at the door to his room. I knocked and heard a "Yeah?" before I slightly opened the door to peek my head through.

He was on his computer, his back was towards me. I couldn't see what he was doing but I could tell he was on a call.

"Hold up Sapnap." He said while clicking on his computer and turned to look at me.

"Hey! Wassup?" He asked smiling at me

"Sorry, i just wanted to give you your lunch. You didn't come down to get it so I got worried." I said while walking over to give him his plate.

"Oh! Don't be sorry, thanks! Time flew by and I didn't even reali-" he stopped mid sentence and his face turned a shade of red

"C-Clay? Are you o-?" I asked, a bit concerned.

"Shut up!" He said while quickly turning back around to his computer

Clay's POV

"...I didn't even reali-" i said but was cut off by sapnaps voice coming from my headphones
