15. New Place New People

The sunlight blares through the curtains and onto my flickering eyes. I groan as I pull the covers over my head, then they disappear off of me, I open one eye to see Trey smirking at me from the bottom of the bed with the cover snaked in his arms.
I sigh as I sit and stretch my arms, wings, legs and tail.
I get up and walk past Trey, bumping his shoulder with mine and at the last minute I smack my tail right into his groin, I hear his knees hit the floor as he groans in pain. I just smile and make my breakfast.
I start to eat as Trey comes in holding his nethers, he gives me a glare as he turns towards the door.
"If your going for a fly, I mean walk, don't be too long", I roll my eyes as I mutter,
"Yes dad", I see Trey turn to me out the corner of my eye and smirk,
"Its daddy to you", I drop my fork as my mouth flys open, he chuckles as he closes the door behind him, I guess I kinda asked for that one.

I finish my breakfast and decide to grab a camera I found when I first came here, I sling the little bag over my shoulder and took off out the back door.
I walk to the lake snapping anything that caught my attention, I took a few pictures of squirrels to birds and even a fox, I love the wildlife around here.
Once I've made it to the lake I take a few pictures of the calm water and I go and scale up a tree and take a series of pictures, I sit down finding a comfortable spot and go through the pictures I took, small smiles come on my lips as I see some that look aesthetically pleasing.
I look up from the screen as I hear people talking, people I don't know. I look back down to the screen to make out as if I didn't hear anything, I see a group of people walk out from below to the edge of the water, I look back down as if I never saw them.
I feel their eyes on me after I hear someone say "there she is" I put my camera back in my bag and stand up and look back into the forest and stretch my limbs including my wings well as much as my slinged up wing will allow, giving off a silent warning to the new comers not to bother trying to mess with me.
I jump from the branch and go over to the waters edge and flick my toes into the water, I turn around as I look over to Trey signalling me to come over, I hang my head as start heading over to them slightly puffing my feathers and fur out.
"Hi Belle these are the alphas that wanted to see you", Trey says as he places his hand on my back as he lightly moves me forward towards the men.
There's at least four of them with similar facial structures, then again it comes with immortality.
I shake all of their hands and answer some questions when a particular young one with high cheekbones come forward.
"What were you doing up in that tree?" He curiously asked me his eyes scanning over my wings,
" I was taking pictures", I say as I grab my bag and pull the camera out and hand it to him. All the alphas huddle round him as they scan through the pictures this eyes going wide at the last few.
"How high can you fly?" The youngster asks,
"As high as I want", I answer simply taking the camera back and tucking it back into the little bag.
"Thank you for your hospitality gentleman but I must get going I've got a date to go to", I say with a small smile earning an angry look from Trey, he is about to say my name when I quickly take off into a full sprint into the trees back towards home, that excuse always works, I smile with slight satisfaction at pissing Trey off once again. I then freeze to a stop as a deep vibration goes through me followed by echoes of howls in the distance,
"Oh... My gosh", I say as I quickly sprint my way home.
I come out just behind my cabin as I see Jessica running full speed towards me her face tear stricken.
"Belle! Belle oh my gosh you got to go you can't be here!" She near enough screams at me as I hold her trembling body steady.

"Its Ethan he killed the alpha, he took over the role", I freeze as the information kicks in, I definitely can't stay here.
"Jess I will come for you ok? Listen to me! I will be at yours tomorrow night ok? I promise", I say crushing her in a big hug my wings enveloping us,
"I can't believe it I cant", I shush her as she weeps on my shoulder, I couldn't believe it either how did he actually manage to do it?
"Bella! Belle!" I pull back to see Trey coming towards me shirtless, just wow. I shake the thoughts out of my head as he approaches.
"Belle you got to go he's sending guards after you! Go NOW!" He shouts as he shoves me towards the treeline, I look at my slinged wing and quickly prod it to find out that it is no longer hurting, I quickly unwrap it and do the same with my tail, I look back and jump up my wings beating down and sending me soaring across the lake in a matter of seconds.
