AMARA CABOT
When I woke up again, my head ached like a motherfucker, and my body felt like a thousand tiny needles were stabbing me every time I breathed.
I had been awake for only a few minutes, but I was on high alert.
Giovanni and Marco's hands and ankles were tied to chairs, tape over their mouths. They were unconscious.
I had no sign of Alec, until a door slammed open. I jumped, my body fully awake now.
"Well. Nice to see you all again." A thick Irish accent said. I could hear the smirk on his face.
I lifted my head ever so slightly, the kink in my neck worsening as chains shook around my wrists and ankles.
"I'm not sure if you remember me. I was at your grandmothers party." The accent said. I could feel his breath on my back before I felt his hands clamp around mine.
Giovanni and Marco's eyes were glued to me the whole time.
"That was quite a performance you put on there, wasn't it!" He cackled.
I winced in pain when the clasps around. my wrists tightened.
"I know you know what I'm here for. My only issue is that, we can't find it."
The door opened again and two people came in.
"Alec!" I cried, when I saw his bruised and bloodied figure.
"I'm fine. You should see the other guy." He raised a sad smile, trying to lighten the mood. I didn't smile.
"Look man- we don't know where the diamonds are. If we did, do you seriously think we'd be in this position right now?" Alec argued.
The guy nodded, but didn't look convinced.
"I know. But one of you knows something, which is why we're not leaving here until someone coughs up some information."
"Are my brothers okay?" I blurted out, causing all pairs of eyes to turn to me, "You promised me you wouldn't hurt them."
"They're fine for now." His malice voice echoed through my head, "We have guards ready to attack if they suspect anything."
My blood ran cold, "They think you're at a job interview. You won't be coming home for a few hours." He smirked.
I bared my teeth at him, earning a harty laugh.
Deciding to stay quiet, a voice interrupted my thoughts. "Now. Which one of you Americans knows the code to the safe?"

It had been an hour since they left and no one had come back since.
They had tied Alec up and put his wrists behind him, tape over his mouth.
He was a little more free then Giovanni and Marco but still, restrained.
My body ached as it longed to be rested. My arms had lost all feeling as the blood was now in my head.
My arms were above me, shackled to the dirty roof, whilst my feet barely scraped the cold concrete ground.
I was being stretched like an animal.
I sniffled, what did I do to deserve this?
"Ready to talk yet?" A voice came through the intercom.
I gritted my teeth, "Go to hell you Irish piece of shit!" I screamed, thrashing in my chains, the banging on the walls making a lot of noise.
The room went quiet and I breathed in, clenching my fists.
