Falling For Him

What seems like normal - Part 1

What started off as a normal day for y/n.
*Y/n POV*
I woke up to a loud thud, I checked my phone and it was 4:25am and I went downstairs to see what the loud thud was and it was just my dad he had just came home from the pub where he has been drinking since 5:00pm yesterday afternoon.

I don't really see my dad that often he's usually out drinking or with his mates. But I'm glad I don't see him that often ever since mum has passed he has been a different person. He started drinking everyday, he's been hitting me almost everyday it was usually once like every week but now it's gotten worse everything has and I don't know what to do.

I went back upstairs to try and get some sleep since I had school tomorrow and it's Friday tomorrow so I have all weekend to relax if dad lets me.

I managed to get some sleep eventually it took me about half an hour to fall back asleep I was scared dad was gonna wake up and hit me. I got up around 6:30 ish and had a shower. I got dressed into my uniform. My uniform consists of a plain white shirt with a black tie a red jumper and a black blazer. I hated wearing the blazer so I never did I always left my blazer at home. I sometimes get told off for not having my blazer but I don't care. But my dad does once he got a phone call from the school about me not having the correct uniform and he didn't like that so he hit me a few times then left for the pub.

I left the house for school around 8:45 and school started at 9:00am so I had less than 15 minutes to get to school before I get told off by my HOY (head of year). I'm almost always late but I always keep getting told off.

I reached school around 9:02 and my HOY was waiting outside of school to catch anyone who was late and obviously she stopped me she said "uh excuse me y/n why are you late AGAIN?" "I'm only 2 minutes late miss can't you just let it slide just this once." I replied
"NO I can't just let it slide your always late and I'm not gonna tolerate this anymore I stand outside my office NOW!!"

I started making my way towards her office and when I saw my best friend Millie and I stopped and spoke with her for a while I told here whats going on with the HOY shit and she said I'm gonna get the usual which was an after school and I nodded my head to agree with her

My HOY shouted "y/n that doesn't look like my office now does it." Me and Millie said bye to each other and I walked slowly to the HOY office.

"So y/n I'm gonna give you and after school on Monday and Tuesday next week. This is your last warning y/n anything else and your kicked out of this school." My HOY said I wasn't really listening she kept on talking "y/n.... y/n..... are you listening to me" she said. I was snapped out of my thoughts and she said my name again but louder. "Uhhh yes miss." I said.
"Are you listening" she replied
"yes miss can I go now" I said while I rolled my eyes I just wanted to get out of that office. "Yes you may I don't ever want to see you here again, I'll write you a note for your first lesson"
