Jeongin POV

"Are you ready?" Hyunjin smiled as he put his hand on my shoulder.

I looked back at him nervously. "Don't make that face when you see Jaehwa. She's going to think you regret proposing to her," he laughed.

I tried my best to calm down but I couldn't. Who knew I'd be getting married today? Especially to the person that's always been there for me...I'm still surprised.

I took a deep breath as I stared at myself in the mirror. You can do this! Don't embarrass yourself in front of everyone!

"Still can't believe you mustered up the courage to propose. I honestly thought she would be the one asking," Hyunjin commented which snapped me out of my thoughts.

"I didn't think I could do it either," I could feel my face getting warmer as I thought about it.

"Jaehwa, you know how we have a date planned today right?" I asked over the phone.

"Yes, I remember. Why? Is something wrong?" She replied.

I tried my best to explain the fake situation to her.
"So you're telling me you want me to help Seungmin look for his keys instead of going on a date?" Jaehwa asked in confusion.

"Is that okay? He said he was close by, you guys can just come together after you get off work." I hope she believed me.

"Mmm, it's fine. We can go on dates any day. By the way, how come you're calling me right now? It's not your lunch break," she questioned.

I couldn't tell her I took a day off or that would ruin everything. "Uhh...I'm in the restroom..."

"Oh. Well enjoy your business, I have to go. I'll see you later...love you~" She said in a rush before hanging up.

My heart fluttered as she took me by surprise.
"She must be busy today," I sighed.

Suddenly a crash was heard from behind. I quickly jumped to my feet and turned around with widened eyes.

"Who put this table here," Hyunjin grumbled as he began picking up the items that fell.

"It's such a big table, yet you didn't see it?" Eunhee questioned in disbelief as she walked in carrying a box.

I rushed over to help them as Beomgyu came in. "Eunhee let me take that. I can't let you do such things when you're pregnant," he said as he took the box from her hands.

I planned to propose to Jaehwa this evening and I asked a few of my friends to help me. Thankfully Beomgyu and Eunhee didn't work today and Hyunjin managed to close his shop for the day.

I hid behind the slides waiting for them. Beomgyu and Eunhee were in charge of the lights and Hyunjin was the lookout.

I flinched as a pebble hit me. I turned my head and glared in the direction it came from. "Psst, they're coming," Hyunjin shout-whispered.

I nodded and prepared myself.
"So tell me how you lost your keys at the park?" Jaehwa asked as they approached us.

"Well you see—" Seungmin was cut off by the shimmering lights that switched on.

Jaehwa jumped at the sight as I stepped out from behind the slide. "SHI—"

I smiled sheepishly as she walked up to me. "What's all this? I thought we were looking for Seungmin's keys."

"I wanted to surprise you," I said as I took her hand. She raised a brow although she didn't seem phased.

"How can you keep coming up with surprises when it's been 7 years since we started dating," she chuckled.

I smiled at her before getting down on one knee. She looked at me with widened eyes. "Hey, the ground is dirty, what are you doing?"

I cleared my throat as she tried to pull me up.
"Yoo Jaehwa, it took a lot of courage for me to do this," I gulped before continuing, "but will you marry me?"

"Get up first, then I'll answer you," she said, expressionless.

I carefully got back on my feet and looked at her anxiously. She told me to close my eyes and I hesitantly complied.

A few seconds later I felt her lips on mine before she quickly pulled away and whispered in my ear. "Of course I'll marry you."

*flashback end*

"Enough blushing, you can do that when you see her later," Hyunjin said as he pushed me towards the door.

"Congratulations on getting married!" Jisung beamed as him and Minho stood side by side.

Minho nodded, "Who knew you would get married before me."

Felix and Seungmin walked up to us before continuing the conversation. "It's about time you guys got married," Felix commented.

"If you didn't, I was going to start regretting not making a move," Seungmin added jokingly.

"Hey, congrats on your marriage!" Chan exclaimed as he swung an arm around my shoulder.

"Yeah, our next meal is on you," Changbin laughed as he appeared next to me.

Third person POV

"Mommy, can Mingyu and I go play at the park?" Jeonghwa asked as her mom was busy in the kitchen.

"Sure, just take Uncle Hyunjin with you," Jaehwa answered and Jeonghwa nodded happily before skipping away.

Jeonghwa ran to the living room where her uncle was and tugged on the hem of his shirt. "Uncle Hyunjin, come to the park with me and Mingyu."

Hyunjin looked at Jeonghwa as she pouted with pleading eyes. She looks just like them, it's kinda scary, he thought to himself.

"Of course, let's go. Where's Mingyu?" Hyunjin replied as he looked around the room.

"I'm here!" The little boy shouted as he shuffled down the stairs.

"Uncle Hyunjin are you sure you'll be okay going with us? You're kind of clumsy," Mingyu said as he stared at Hyunjin full of worry.

He mentally sighed as a thought occurred to him. Lee Eunhee how can you make your child look down on me like that. "I'll be fine. You know your Uncle Jeongin is way more clumsy than I am," Hyunjin retorted before standing up.

"That's not the same Uncle Hyunjin," Jeonghwa commented.

"How?" Hyunjin questioned.

"That's my daddy, so it's different," she shrugged before scurrying towards the door to get her shoes.

"She sure has a way with words," Hyunjin mumbled as he walked over to help the two put on their shoes before taking them to the park.

"Mingyu! Come and push me, I wanna play on the swing!" Jeonghwa shouted as she ran towards the swing set.

Mingyu followed behind her but stopped as they reached the swings. "Can we play tag first?" He asked.

Jeonghwa looked at him in thought. "But I wanna get on the swing," she pouted as she glanced behind her.

"I'm older than you so let's play tag first," Mingyu suggested.

Jeonghwa gave in and the two began chasing each other. As Mingyu was running from Jeonghwa, he tripped over himself and fell to the ground.

"Are you okay?" Jeonghwa asked as she ran up to him.

Tears fell down Mingyu's cheeks as quickly as he wiped them away. "My mommy said that cute kids shouldn't cry or you'll ruin your face," Jeonghwa said as she looked at Mingyu.

He smiled a little at her comment before she spoke again. "I'll call Uncle Hyunjin, don't worry," she patted him on the shoulder before proceeding to shout for her uncle.
