Jaehwa POV

I opened my locker and saw another letter in it. I took it out, along with my books and put them into my bag.

“Jaehwa!” 

I turned around to see Eunhee.

“You look happy today,” I said as I closed my locker. 

“Did something good happen?” I asked.

“Look!” she said as she showed me her bag.

“What is it?”

“Beomgyu bought it for me, isn’t it cute?” 

“Yeah, but what is it supposed to be?” I asked as I looked at the charm hanging from the zipper.

“Um, I actually don’t know,” she chuckled.

“Oh? Did you get a new water bottle?” she asked, pointing to the bottle in my hand.

“Stranger got it for me,” I said as we started walking to class.

“Stranger?”

“Calling them “secret admirer” is too long. Might as well use the name they go by.”

“Makes sense.” 

“So did you get something today?” she asked.

“Another letter, but I haven’t opened it yet.

“Do it when we get to class,” she said.

“Okay.”

We got into class and sat in our seats. Eunhee turned around, waiting for me to read the letter.

I just wanted to tell you that you’re the prettiest girl I’ve ever seen. I hope one day we get to meet in person without me having to use this method anymore…

Stranger

“They sound like they’re giving up or something,” I said as Eunhee read the note.

“Yeah, I guess they want you to find them?” 

“Maybe? I really don’t know what they’re thinking though, how can I figure out who it is?”

“What are you guys doing?” Jeongin asked as he sat down.

“Being confused."

“Why?”

“Because this Stranger doesn’t make sense,” Eunhee said.

“Let me see,” he said as he read the note.

“Why are you guys confused? It makes sense to me,” he said as he put the note down.

“Doesn’t it sound like they’re giving up or something?” I asked.

“No.”

“Maybe we’re just looking at it the wrong way,” Eunhee said before reading it again. 

“Maybe…”

I felt thirsty so I put the note away and pulled out my water bottle. 

“When did you get a new one?” Jeongin asked.

“Stranger bought it for me,” I said after taking a sip.

“Isn’t it cute?” I asked, showing it to him.
