Jaehwa POV
I opened my locker to see another envelope in it. I wonder how long they plan to do this.
I quickly put it in my backpack and made my way to class.
"You're here early," I said to Jeongin as I sat down.
"I got the time wrong."
"How?"
"Hyunjin was messing with the time on my phone, so I got here a whole hour early," He said before putting his head down.
"Well, sweet dreams then," I said, patting him on the head.
"Hi hi," Hyunjin said as he sat down in front of me.
"What are you doing here?"
"I was bored and I saw something this morning that might interest you."
"Oh? What was it?"
He motioned for me to come closer, and whispered, "So when I was walking to my locker, I saw Han Jisung put something in your locker."
"No way, I don't even talk to him. But he's in your class, and Dowoon did say it was from the class next door," I said in confusion.
"I mean, it could also be someone from the other classes."
"True..."
"So did you get a letter today?" He asked excitedly.
"Yeah, but I haven't looked yet."
"Do it now, I wanna see!" He said, impatiently.
"Alright, alright," I said as I pulled the envelope out of my bag.

Jaehwa,
I know you've been worrying a lot lately, but I just wanted to let you know that I'm not a bad person. If it makes you feel better, I tripped on the way here and a little kid laughed at me. Have a good day!

I let out a soft laugh as I finished reading it.
"Let me see, I can't read upside down," Hyunjin said as he took the note out of my hand.
"He sounds like an idiot," Hyunjin said as he finished reading.
"Hey, don't bad mouth him when you're literally the same," I said as I took the note from his hand.
"What do you mean by that!" He said, pouting.
"I'm just saying you're equally clumsy."
"Hmph, I'm not talking to you anymore!" He said while crossing his arms and turning his head.
"You're such a drama queen," I said, rolling my eyes.
Jeongin POV
I heard Jaehwa laugh as she finished reading the letter. I'm glad it made her smile at least. I kept my head down even though I couldn't sleep because I wanted to hear their conversation.
"Let me see, I can't read upside down," I heard Hyunjin say.
He's something else.
"He sounds like an idiot."
Hey! I'm not an idiot, I think I'm quite smart. You're the dumb one.
I heard Jaehwa saying that we're the same. Definitely not, I'm way better than him.
"What are you guys doing, I can't sleep with you being so loud," I said, stretching as I put my head up.
"Nothing, we were just reading the note I got today," Jaehwa said.
"Can I see?" I asked.
"Sure," she said, handing it to me.
"Interesting," I said after I finished reading it.
"Ah right, Hyunjin said he saw Jisung from his class putting it in my locker, do you think it's him?"
"Maybe, maybe not. It's too soon to tell."
"You're right.."
"Let's wait a little more before we start trying to figure out who it is," I suggested.
"Good idea, by the way, when are you going to leave?" she said, turning her head to Hyunjin.
"When I feel like it," he said.
"Go, before you're late," she said.
"Fine, fine, I'm going, see you guys later," he said as he got up.
"Byee," Jaehwa said, waving.
"See ya later," I said.
After school
"Jeongin!!" I turned my head to see Hyunjin running towards me.
"I thought you were helping Eunhee today? Why are you here?" I asked.
"Well, she said she was lazy so she went to find Jaehwa," he said.
"So are we waiting for them or you wanna go first?"
"Let's go first, she said they would take a while," he said as he started walking.
"Alright."
"So when are you planning to tell me about your crush on Jaehwa?" he asked.
"What do you mean?"
"You told me you like her, but you never told me why," He said while glancing at me.
"It's complicated, I don't even know how to explain it myself, so I doubt you'd understand."
"Try me."
"It's like, no matter how upset I am or how I'm feeling, seeing her makes me happy. When she's not feeling well, it makes me sad, I don't know, I just feel so many different emotions when I'm with her."
"Um...okay...sounds like you're lowkey obsessed," he said with a concerned look.
"I'm not!"
"Oh really, so how would you feel if I told you Jaehwa likes someone?" he said with a smirk.
"Wait, what!?" I said, stopping in my tracks.
"Who is it?" I said, running after him.
"Yah! Hwang Hyunjin! You stop right there!" we turned around to see Jaehwa running towards us.
"Yikes, she caught me, distract her for me will you!" he said as he ran off.
What am I supposed to do!!
"Uh, wait!" I said, grabbing a hold of Jaehwa's wrist before she could go after him.
"What?" she said, glaring at me.
"Um, what happened?" I asked nervously.
She heaved a sigh of frustration saying,"Hyunjin told me he'd help me put up posters after class, but he never showed up. Now let go of me," she said glancing at my hand.
"Ah, sorry," I said as I let go.
"Wait, but I thought he was helping Eunhee with something?" I asked, confused.
"Eunhee? Don't you remember, she went home early today."
"Oh...heh.."
"Why are you so easy to fool," she said, shaking her head.
"I-"
"Whatever, let's go. I'm going to beat him up when I see him," she said as she grabbed my hand and dragged me with her.
