Jaehwa POV
“Seungmin!” I called as I ran up to him.
“Hi,” he waved with a smile.
“Are you ready to see Mr. Yoon? He’s been asking about what we have so far.”
“Yeah, let’s go,” he said, closing his locker.
“Mr. Yoon, we’re here,” I knocked on the door.
“Come in, come in,” he gestured as he looked up.
We walked in and took a seat in front of his desk.
“So what do you guys have so far?”
“Well, we thought about the possibilities and since we’re combining the event with sports day, we were wondering if we could split the day into two?” Seungmin asked.
“That could be possible, what’s your reasoning?”
“Since sports day is for classes individually and the annual event is mixed up, we think it’s better to have them on different days,” I said.
“That’s a good point,” Mr. Yoon said.
“Mr. Yoon, why did the school start an annual event when we already have sports day?” Seungmin asked.
“Because sports day is a day for the classes to compete against each other, the principal thought it would be good for us to have a day where the students can mix around into different classes,” he explained.
“That makes sense,” Seungmin nodded.
“Alright, so I’ll discuss having them on separate days with the principal. Hand me your list of ideas so I can take a look.”
“Here you go,” I passed it to him.
“It looks pretty good,” he nodded as he looked over our ideas.
“Make sure you come up with some alternatives. You guys can go now. Oh, can you both ask your class president to come see me, I need to talk to them about sports day.”
“Yes sir,” we said as we stood up to leave.
“I’m glad he was okay with our suggestion,” Seungmin said as we walked down the hall.
“I know, I was scared it wouldn’t be possible.”
“Let me stop by my locker for a second,” I looked at him and he nodded.
We walked over to my locker and he waited as I opened it. I took out the envelope inside, put it in my bag, and closed my locker. I turned around to see Seungmin staring at my locker rather intensely.
“Are you okay?”
“Huh? Yeah, I’m fine,” he said as he switched his attention to me.
“Alright..let’s go then,” I said before walking towards the classroom.
As we were walking, Seungmin stopped for a brief moment.
“Ah, Chan! Mr. Yoon needs you in the office,” Seungmin said as he stopped him.
“Thanks for letting me know,” he smiled before walking away.
Seungmin looked over and was about to say something before he was interrupted.
“Hey you two,” Hyunjin said as he pushed himself between us.
“Morning."
“Hi,” Seungmin smiled although he seemed a bit disappointed.
