Jaehwa POV

Jeongin and Hyunjin came over to hang out today, but we weren’t even talking.
I suddenly remembered that Jisung gave me a letter the other day. I reached over and grabbed my backpack.

“What are you looking for?” Jeongin asked as I was digging through my bag.

“Jisung gave me a letter the other day and I forgot to look at it.”

“Jisung?” Hyunjin said as he looked up.

“Yeah, weird that he personally gave it to me right?”

“Very, now I don’t know if we should suspect him or not,” Hyunjin said as he moved closer to me so he could see it.

“You wanna read it with us?” I asked Jeongin.

“Why not,” he said as he got up and sat next to me.

I opened the envelope and we read the letter together.

Jaehwa,

I had a dream about you last night. Apparently we got into a fight and you said you never wanted to see me again. I was kind of scared when I woke up. Maybe I’m making the wrong choice in pursuing you like this…
I walked by an ice cream shop and thought of you. We should go together one day :)

“That’s tough,” Hyunjin said.

“Well, I’m not sure who to expect, but there’s one thing for sure. It’s definitely not Jisung,” I said as I put the note back into the envelope.

“Why is it not him?” Jeongin asked.

“Because he’s not the type to talk like that. If he liked me, he’d never say a word,” I said, getting up.

I walked over to my desk and put the envelope in a drawer I kept all the others in.

“You keep all of them?” Hyunjin asked.

“Yeah, so that I can go back and look through it for clues,” I said before closing it.

“So do you have anyone in mind right now?” Jeongin asked as I sat down.

“Nope, completely clueless.”

“Minhyun?” Hyunjin asked.

“I did think it was a possibility, but we made things clear and he would’ve mentioned it if it was him.”

“Yeah, he’d just tell you. Wait, so what happened?” Hyunjin asked.

“With Minhyun?”

“Well duh, who else,” Hyunjin said as both him and Jeongin fixated their eyes on me.

“I told him I didn’t like him, he told me he liked me since middle school, he said we faded, and I said it was his fault. End of story.”

“Woah! Since middle school?” Hyunjin asked.

“Yeah, he told me at the time…” Jeongin mumbled.

“Wait, you knew?” I asked.

“Yeah…”

*flashback*

Jeongin POV

“Jeongin there’s something I want to tell you,” Minhyun said.
